Former President Trump has railed against the New York Post, one of the nation’s top tabloid newspapers, after it published an extensive profile of possible 2024 White House candidate Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) over the weekend.
The profile, which carries a headline quoting a top DeSantis talking point — “people don’t want ‘agenda being shoved down their throat’ ” — and features photos of the governor fishing and playing baseball as a child, triggered an angry social media post from the former president and 2024 White House hopeful on Sunday.

Here’s a helpful rule for Mr. Trump: Go after your Republican opponents only during primary season. Otherwise, focus all your attention on the many horrible things Democrats are doing.

That article was a back handed attack on Trump from DeSantis’s supporters, which is what DeSantis is content to do just now — let someone else throw his darts and he sits back basking in neutral glory.

For those who like to post that they are forever Trump only voters, explain how he will win in 2024 and how him running and losing helps the conservative cause and our country?
Voted for him twice and would love to vote for him again if I was confident he would win. None of these activities by him help that. None.

Well since the article just quotes what Trump himself posted on Truth Social... i think in this instance its okay.
I don’t understand this. What is Trump’s strategy? DeSantis has not even declared. He should be directing all of his fire at only the Biden administration this early in the game.

Some of you people are dumbfounding in stupidity. That was a headline from the Hill. The verb “rages” was a perjorative to snag in suggestible people like you. Trump merely pointed out some things.
