Joe Biden Stokes Fear on ‘Voting Rights’ in Selma, Still No Visit to East Palestine

SELMA, Ala. (AP) — President Joe Biden used the searing memories of Selma’s “Bloody Sunday” to recommit to a cornerstone of democracy, lionizing a seminal moment from the civil rights movement at a time when he has been unable to push enhanced voting protections through Congress and a conservative Supreme Court has undermined a landmark voting law.

“Selma is a reckoning. The right to vote … to have your vote counted is the threshold of democracy and liberty. With it anything’s possible,” Biden told a crowd of several thousand people seated on one side of the historic Edmund Pettus Bridge, named for a reputed Ku Klux Klan leader.

Let me guess? Somewhere in his pudding brain he thinks he was in Selma on that day?

Biden: “...to have your vote counted is the threshold of democracy and liberty.”
Truth Be Told: To have your vote counted more than once is the Chicago Way.

To Biden and Democrats, “Fighting for Voting Rights” means fighting for the rights of the disqualified, ineligible, or even imaginary, to vote more than ten times in a single election.

Joe Biden many actually be the last politician left in Congress who could be considered a Dixiecrat who used white racism to win his seat. He certainly was friendly with the old Dem Southern racists who were left in Congress when he got there.

People can call me on it later, but I predict Biden will not show up in East Palestine. To his ilk, “they don’t matter” (see Joy Behar re: “you deserve it because you voted for Trump”)

He and the left are so arrogant and so sure that they will maintain power, that he won’t even bother going to Ohio despite all the bad news coming out of there.

At this point the left are just throwing their disdain for the nation on our faces and laughing about how much power they have to do so.

Setting the stage for another stolen election.

Our ballots are now ineffectual, you know what comes next.

These who hate Trump like this one..
Excerpt .. she has a master that does not like his Master. Spirit to spirit hate comes from the pit.

Trump brought out the enemy of all.. the underworld shuddered when Trump arrived.

Had the derailment occurred in a black neighborhood he’d’ve been there within days. It’s not unlike the Christmas Parade murders vs the Rochester supermarket murders.

“He’s a very busy man and it takes lots of time to schedule a visit.” vs “This is a national tragedy and requires the healing touch of our Great Leader”. /s

I saw him walking, er shuffling at the bridge. Did they stage a photo op as if he actually was capable of walking it?

Biden and the Dems regularly inflame racial relations in this country, convincing half of America that blacks are being prevented from voting until the auspices of white supremacy. All lies.

Meanwhile, Republican voters are flagrantly disenfranchised in Arizona and many other places. It's a bad problem and getting worse.

Whoa wait a minute here. The bridge is named for a klansman?
And it hasn’t been torn down? Or renamed for some unknown civil rights hero?

BTW, when I lived in Alabama, I took a side trip to go see the bridge. One side of the bridge looks like Beruit and the other side is prosperous. That was around 1994.

Joe likes to reminisce and ruminate over his fictional, yet heroic, past. His actual racist, bigoted, and segregationist past - including all of his ethnic appropriation is seldom top of his demented mind. That’s what old video is for.

I was talking to someone I know is more liberal than me, and told her that voter turnout in Georgia had increased substantially, even after the alleged Jim Crow voter law was passed there.

Her response was the mishamash of topics, such as how Stacy Abrams and her people worked very hard to overcome the problems with that law. But she still said the law was discriminatory even though Stacey Abrams and her people had worked so hard to register people to vote.

So in spite of voter turnout having increased in Georgia after the alleged discriminatory law was passed, the liberal view is still, that the law is Jim Crow 2.0., and we are turning back the clock on civil rights, etc. etc.
