‘A Lack of Machine Tools Is Holding Back Ammo Production, Army Says”

This is the stuff that really pisses me off. I’m TOTALLY COOL with taking over the world as making the Third World bow to us sounds like fun, but when you have credible opposition, it makes sense to me to make sure that our military and our defense industries are READY for the task.

Obviously, the IDIOTS running the country, who the Neocon Cheerleaders seem to LOVE, never considered the above.

If Wilson had not foolishly intervened in WW I Europe (and the world) would be a much more stable and peaceful place.

“Without Ukraine, the problem in this article would not be being corrected until we noticed all these problems in our war against China when it would be too late.”

Don’t fool yourself, the HATERS of our military will IMMEDIATELY go back to their old ways, once they figure out that Russia kicked their butts in Ukraine.

I agree: the drawdown in forces supplied a bipartisan porkfest. The same is true of the “sequester” which saw Obama slash the defense budget with Republican approval.

It’s not only a lack of tools. It’s also a lack of experienced and knowledgeable machine operators. People do not realize the expertise it takes to be constantly maintaining and adjusting the machines to make sure products are up to standard.

A slightest mis-adjustment to a machine screw can cause a part to be produced which is off by the slightest bit and thus will not fit with the other parts manufactured. You see this in cheap products you order which have to be assembled at home. The screw holes are misaligned, the screws are too short or mis-threaded, etc, etc. Most machinists carry a micrometer in their tool belt to take measurements of items coming off the line to make sure those products are according to specifications.

The experienced machinists have all retired or passed away and there is no one to teach the skill to younger workers (if you could find any that wanted the job or were skilled enough in math to be hired). Several decades ago, plenty of young men and women who had no desire to go to college, found a job at such a factory. They made good money and found a career. The globalists shipped all those jobs overseas and took away those career opportunities.

Here is where we are today on the 155 shells.

FEBRUARY 2, 2023
“Inside the U.S. Army Plant Making (155) Artillery Shells for Ukraine”
Roughly 300 employees work across the 15-acre complex, where hulking machinery cuts, melts, reshapes and refines 2,000-pound steel rods into sleek, two-foot-tall projectiles. The plant is owned by the Army but is operated by General Dynamics Corp.’s ordnance unit and currently runs 24 hours a day, five days a week with a weekend shift.”

“Scranton and its sister-facility in nearby Wilkes-Barre have received more than $420 million in federal funding for a new building, additional equipment and improved automation that the Army hopes will boost production rates. “

“The service in recent days awarded contracts to three private companies to produce and deliver 155mm artillery: General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, American Ordnance, and IMT Defense.”

“Man, what a silly post, at least try occasionally to post something relevant.”

That’s what’s REALLY HARD for you guys - to try to JUSTIFY the drive of the Neocons to rule the world, but STILL have to deal with the FACT that many other countries may not be too hot on our idea, and that they NOW have the CAPABILITY to not have to deal with our crap.

Regardless, the Neocons (and their supplicants here) will be spanked down, and HOPEFULLY they will get the message.

Your PROBLEM is not with me, but is with the author of the article. You may want to read it.

My sentiments also..

https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/pennsylvania/abandoned-wwii-factory-pa/

We are capable of producing the munitions, this administration doesn't want to start. They would prefer to contract it out to a country like China.
Unless we become a manufacturing country we are doomed to lose.

Do you also need NEW READING GLASSES? As much as you Alinsky types want to personalize it to me and others wanting a PEACEFUL end to this war, it is the HEADLINE that tells the story - so go bitch at them.

The bottom line is PERFECTLY CLEAR - if your friends want a world war, they should have FIRST checked to see if the US has the capability of fighting it, as the headline makes it clear that this was NOT THE CASE.

...but I just don't get it.

It's because you don't have the capacity to 'get it'. None of you biden neocons have the capacity. This has been going on for a full year now. I have seen you on most Uke threads. I have also seen numerous people attempt to explain it to you and the others in your click. It's not like people haven't tried. With that effort exhausted it's clear that you can't 'get it'.

This question of yours proves the point...

Just what would we gain by feeding Ukraine to the Russian wolves?

What are we doing over there if not feeding The Ukraine to the Russian wolves?

Hope that helps.
