Smells like China Joe has cut a deal with Big Agriculture business conglomerate. So local farm concerns who might provide food to schools will be cut out.

Democrat party hates small business.

Mmmmmmmmm, Lunchables. Greasy, preservative laden lunch meat, and waxy tasting artifically flavored pseudo cheese. Guess it’s better than feeding the kids crickets or mealworms. We should all be grateful I guess.

Processed foods has contributed greatly to the obesity and health problems in children. Between their lack of physical activity and the junk they eat for every meal, many will develop health issues before graduating high school.

Good way to force meatless turkey and cricket crackers on the kids.

But, but, the snacks will have electrolytes, and built-in MRNA COVID boosters.

Tell parents to make their kids lunch. Peanut butter and jelly was fine for me

The article would be far more useful if it had contained the actual photos of the nutrition and ingredients labels of the new food items...assuming that they actually have accurate label information.

What garbage,

The overly processed fat, salt and carbohydrate junk is awful. I know parents buy them, but they are overpriced junk food.

Who is getting the big pay off? Tens of millions for walking around money for sure.

“Peanut butter and jell….”

Very nutritious peanuts butter is, but not allowed in many schools due to severe allergies among some students.

“Better than the Korean diet of a fish head and some old rice.”

What’s wrong with fish head soup? Fish heads make a hearty broth and seaweed is good for what ails you.

Wash it down with a cuppa Onge crock beer, that’s good eatin right there!

Well the government has to spend our tax dollars on something.
Maybe it will help a few of the children but it will boost the
profits of suppliers.

I agree entirely. Pack a brown bag lunch. I never ate school cafeteria filth nor should any child. Public schools = poison for both mind and body.
