EXCLUSIVE: Federal Regulator Acknowledges Danger To Wildlife Caused By Offshore Wind Farms

A federal fisheries council acknowledged that some power cables for offshore wind turbines could harm certain fish, according to a letter seen by the DCNF. Multiple recent studies have demonstrated that a variety of commercially popular fish can be negatively impacted by their exposure to magnetic fields emitted by high voltage direct current cables, which can confuse their ability to navigate and in some cases leave them exposed to predators. “We were previously aware of this study and agree that it has concerning implications for the possible effects of high voltage direct current cabling on larval behavior and resulting predation rates,” Thomas Nies, executive director of the New England Fishery Management Council (NEFMC), said in a January 18 letter.

“...but, hey, we’re murdering American eagles by the truckload inland, so what’s the big deal?”

“We were previously aware of this study and agree that it has concerning implications for the possible effects of high voltage direct current cabling on larval behavior and resulting predation rates"...

...but virtue signaling and political implications are much more compelling considerations. Besides, we're talking about millions upon millions of taxpayer dollars the government has already assigned to these projects. Use it or lose it!

I’m just wondering...

Has anyone ever asked a simple question concerning the investments of the politicians and others that are shoving this on our backs every day, all day?

So, in short, offshore wind farms harm wildlife, Offshore oil and gas rigs benefit wildlife.

“Offshore oil and gas rigs benefit wildlife.”

You better believe it. I have fished the offshore oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. They are havens for all manner of aquatic wildlife. They are making aquatic wildlife prosper, propagate and thrive.

2 Illegal Invaders from Honduras (IIRC) shot & killed a Bald Eagle in Nebraska & intended to eat it. ALL INTENTIONAL

Last I heard-—NO CHARGES.

IF AMERICAN is caught with even ONE Eagle feather-—$250,000 fine & 5 years in prison........ AND that feather could have just come without harm to the Eagle.

There was a an article a while back that either dealt with it directly or had a lot to say on politicians and off shore wind farms being erected by European companies.

Coal and natural gas and nuclear power plants don’t kill wildlife. Dead eagles, dead dolphins, dead whales — the New World Order says you have to break eggs to make omelets.

If you are out hiking and find an eagle feather, same penalty.

Fish living in the vicinity of wind farms will have a diet of seabirds and grow feathers.

Politicians know nothing about investing — they either print money or have inside information on the stock market.

I worked The Gulf on oil platforms. Fishing boats would cross miles of ocean to tie up to our platform and fish. The platform in effect is an artivicial reef and that is where the fish are at.
