PIGS FLY! You’ll Never Guess Who in New York Is Ripping the Investigations Into Trump as ‘All Politics’
PJ Media ^ | 03/27/2023 | Robert Spencer

When you’ve lost Andrew Cuomo, you really should take it as a sign that you’ve gone way too far. But there was the randy former New York governor on Saturday, as Democrat as Democrats can possibly be, charging that the ongoing prosecutions-in-search-of-a-crime directed against the America-First president were nothing less than a “cancer in our body politic.” Who does Andrew Cuomo think he is? Roger Stone?

p>Cuomo knows a thing or two about prosecutions: he was attorney general of the state of New York from 2007 to 2010. On Saturday, he declared that the investigations of Trump were politically motivated, which the whole world knows but which Democrats have up to now been steadfast in refusing to admit. Cuomo decisively broke ranks, declaring that “the expression, for prosecutors, is you can indict a ham sandwich because the prosecutor controls the entire indictment process.”

The ham sandwich in this case is Trump, who could still be indicted next week on charges that he paid $130,000 to a prostitute, Stormy Daniels, in order to buy her silence over their liaison, which both Trump and Stormy Daniels now deny ever actually happened. Even before Daniels’ denial came to light, the New York Times admitted that the entire case was a far-fetched basis for handcuffing a former president and subjecting him to a perp walk, conceding in a March 9 article that “hush money is not inherently illegal.”

Daniels’ letter was just one of the many ways in which Manhattan District Attorney Bragg’s case against Trump has unraveled in recent days and been revealed as a banana republic witch hunt. Speaking at campaign rally in Waco Saturday, Trump himself said, “I think they’ve already dropped the case. It’s a fake case. Some fake cases, they have absolutely nothing.”

However, the grand jury in this case is set to reconvene Monday and could still indict Trump.

Cuomo identifies with Trump as a victim of a political persecution. Quite frankly the sex harassment charges against Coumo were about uninvited hugs and sexual banter. Venial sins. He didn’t physically force himself on a woman. The NY communists wanted to get rid of the white guy so they could control the graft. Not complicated.

Cuomo owes no allegiance to the Democrat party. They threw the old White guy
under the bus, the first chance they got. Cuomo represents the old Democrat party,
and not today's party of AOC and Pocahontas.

Yes instead of prosecuting him for the nursing home deaths. He was caught up in the Metoo movement.

Cuomo should know he was thrown under the bus faster than I have EVER SEEN before, one minute he was an absolute GOD, then out of nowhere he was GONE!! I would love to know the REAL story behind his fall, it certainly wasn’t about sexual harassment, AND OMG the governor now is a COMPLETE MORON, I believe Cuomo would have fired Bragg for the lawlessness in NY!!

I agree with what you have written. I think he is trying to figure out how to make a comeback and this may cause some New York Republicans to look at him with something other than utter disdain.

Killing thousands in nursing homes...meh. Even worse, the ‘gold-standard’ of Covid response.

Touching a woman at work, you’re outta here!

Cuomo identifies with Trump as a victim of a political persecution.

Cuomo used the same tactics himself when he was AG of New York.

As with all such media campaigns, the one against Cuomo was so manufactured it was obvious. He was a media darling during COVID. Not a hint of his previous behavior. Then, women with stories 8-10 years old all appear at once, in all major media.

Cuomo is gone, and they are gone too.

Once again proving that the problem isn’t the lies that spew from the media, it’s the truths they don’t tell.

Cuomo’s statement gives me a new and better opinion of him. Cuomo has a great deal of Internal Courage that very few pols might have.

If our side ever treated a democrat President the way Trump has been treated the thugs at the New York Times would have figured out the bias within hours - NOT YEATS. Eff 'em.

I still think they indict. The press pushed the “Trump is a criminal” too hard on this one - and the DA is Fetterman quality smart.

President Trump going public over a week ago busted up the “surprise arrest” that was planned for last Tuesday.

All they wanted was a photo op of President Trump in hand cuff doing a perp walk! They know the case would go no where except as an excuse to spear Trump.

By going public before that could happen may have just prevented the DA from continuing down this road.

But Democrats are evil and see politics as not a “game” but “war” where anything is permissible in order to stay in power so who knows what they will do next.
