She made the pleas to her friends in February and March, spurred on by the tragic 2012 Sandy Hook massacre in which 26 pupils and staff were shot dead by Adam Lanza.
Six people are believed to have died in the shooting at the Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee...

Yeah, I couldn’t see the pronouns on the LinkedIn page when I searched this afternoon, just as soon as we were given a name.
We toured the Belmont area in 2010, when our musically inclined son was considering going there. He decided against it. In many ways, I’m glad. That would’ve been one heck of tuition payments, even if he worked while going there (assuming he was admitted; he never applied after all). I myself don’t care for Nashville at all, but many people love it there. Just not my cup of tea.
Belmont is a great music school.

She chose Penn State for her degree in Vocal Performance. They gave her a couple of scholarships.
