With an anti-Trump judge hearing the case, the chance that the indictment will be thrown out seems slim. So next January there is a trial with 12 rabidly anti-Trump Manhattanites finding Trump guilty. Actually sending him to prison while he appeals would probably be a step too far, but then the media can constantly harp on the theme that Trump is a convicted felon during the 2024 campaign.

The indictment makes it more likely Trump will be the nominee, but less likely that he will win the election. Of course the election fraud issues from 2020 haven't been addressed so he would need large margins of victory to overcome the fraud.

It seems as though Bragg is attempting to say that out of court settlements are criminal.

No word from the MSM about an indictment for Biden’s top secret stolen files he keeps in China town or Hunter and the other crime family racket.

The media is as inept as the democrats party it’s why they are such great pals.

aka American communist Party

“Actually sending him to prison while he appeals would probably be a step too far”

Yeah, that would be ridiculous.

I expect that we will constantly hear that Trump is accused of 34 felonies. Whether the jury will find him guilty on all 34 counts or not won't matter as long as they convict him on at least one. Meanwhile Hillary does many things far worse and pays a small fine for one offense and gets off scot-free for the others.

Trump is accused of paying off a blackmailer. In ancient Athens someone like Daniels who threatened someone in order to be paid off was a sykophantes or "sycophant" and widely hated. Of course Daniels is a piker compared to national treasures such as Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.

O’Shitstain is the REAL CRIMINAL

Here are 1,375 well sourced examples of Barack Obama’s lies, lawbreaking, corruption, cronyism, hypocrisy, waste, etc.

“Not a smidgen of corruption,” but an ongoing contempt for the Constitution and Constitutional Rights (and racketeering for campaign contributions).

It seems like no one really understands that all Bragg has to do is a get a jury who is as stupid as the grand jury and Trump could very well get convicted and end up in prison. Ridiculous, you say?

What about a trial where the prosecution says, “Maybe what he did caused the death, or maybe it was from something else,” and the defendant is still convicted of first degree murder despite the allegations not even adding up to that charge. We’ve seen that recently.

The indictment may be silly or nonsensical, but it will be tried in a Manhatten court with a Manhatten jury. It’s a sure conviction and no evidence really needs to be presented by the prosecutor. It’s a done deal and the Manhatten judge will give Trump prison time...probably 5 years or more. He’ll be incarcerated awaiting appeal...and appeals will be delayed months by NY state.
