So, Trump and his lawyers forgot that he resigned from his many business connections?

His sons were running the businesses, so will they get indicted, instead?

Honestly, if this is the best the Dems can do after six years of fictionalized investigations, hundreds of thousands of man-hours, and many, many millions of your and my dollars, I think it is in itself a bold confession that Donald Trump is as squeaky clean as anyone you will ever find dipping his toe into the political ring.

The most amazing thing is that the communists haven’t managed to come up with a single plausible shred of evidence if anything criminal he’s ever allegedly done
In his entire life
In all their allegations smears libels and slanders. Two impeachments and races and now this bullshit.

Not a single thing.

Goebbels never did it this well

Re: "The Democrats are heading for a disaster"

Would those be the same Democrats who just won a majority in the Wisconsin Supreme Court with an 11% margin in a state election?

Chicago Democrats just elected a neo-Marxist Black Mayor in Chicago instead of the law-and-order centrist white Democrat candidate.

Without the Republican vote in Chicago, the centrist white Democrat would have lost by 30%!

Even sillier than was written, ALL of the 34 ‘Counts’ in the indictment to “influence the outcome of the election”, were dated AFTER the election was over.

Setting aside the previous statements from Bragg about going after Pres Trump and given that this case is turning out to be an absolute train wreck, so far.

Is there a chance that Bragg is just following orders and is intentionally undermining his own case knowing there’s nothing, but also knowing he has to do whatever Soros and the Democrats tell him?

The purpose is to disrupt rallies and fund raising, and to poison primary ballots in swing states. Just like corrupting the actual 2020 voting in the same states.

This is all election interference. Anyone defending it -— they are trash. Call them on it.

Is Bragg charging President Trump with federal or state crimes?

Apparently, he committed state crimes by trying to hide Federal crimes that cannot be defined or explained by Bragg.

So he just did something, OK? /s

It seems like no one really understands that all Bragg has to do is a get a jury who is as stupid as the grand jury and Trump could very well get convicted and end up in prison. Ridiculous, you say? What did you say about the possibility he would get indicted? Or impeached? Or lose the election? This is how the left really thinks.

“We’re after power and we mean it. You fellows were pikers, but we know the real trick, and you’d better get wise to it. There’s no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren’t enough criminals, one makes them...you create a nation of lawbreakers – and then you cash in on guilt. Now that’s the system, Mr. Rearden.” (2.2.3.39)

The payment to Michael Cohen came from the "Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust."

I will speculate that Trump created a Trust to hold all or some of his personal assets.

The indictment claims that the "Trump Trust" was "kept and maintained by the Trump Organization."

A Trust is NOT a "business."

If the Trust included at least $130,000 in personal funds from Donald Trump, there is no way the prosecution can prove there was a false "business" entry.

However - if the checks to Cohen were used to reduce Trust taxes, or to reduce Trump corporate taxes, that will definitely complicate the legal issues.

The indictment is being mocked by everyone except the radical Left and the media.

Re: "You missed my point but that is ok."

Actually, you missed my often stated point, which I failed to make here.

Conservatives and Republicans are a numerical minority in the USA.

The best we can hope for are tiny and unstable majorities in Congress, and tiny and unstable majorities in the Electoral College.

But he was not charged with any tax evasion or other such crime. He was charged with falsifying business records.

And regardless, in an actual "justice" system, these charges should be thrown out due to the statute of limitations. The limitation is 2 years. This is 2023; these are from 2016. Even if you remove the four years in the White House, when Trump could NOT be prosecuted, you are well over the two-year mark.

Re: "Where did you get that crazy idea."

In the last eight Presidential elections, the GOP candidate had a majority of the Popular Vote just one time - 50.7%, by George W. Bush, in 2004.

Also, one third of voters are non-white, and they consistently vote 70%-75% Democrat.

The last time a GOP candidate for President got 60% of the white vote was George H.W. Bush in 1988.

That explains a lot. Also explains why the Dems have kept the southern border wide open. Our Rep. is the “infamous” Marjorie Taylor Greene who libs literally hate. She suits us fine.
