Why should anyone have honored a promise made under duress?

ALL plea agreements made by criminal defendants are made under duress. They can take whatever is offered or take their chances with a jury verdict. Taking the plea agreement is considered voluntary. It is also considered binding.

Similarly, ALL ceasefire agreements are made under duress. One may accept the ceasefire under the conditions offered or continue to suffer death and destruction.

A UFC fighter can refuse to tap out due to a submission hold until a bone or joint snaps. He may tap out under extreme duress. He cannot tap out and, after the hold is released, decide to continue the fight from before the point at which he was getting broken into pieces.

There is going to be no political merging of Ukraine with Poland.

As to your “what’s left of Ukraine “, your putinist guys were passing maps of a landlocked Ukraine. That Russian gambit failed.

Russia has 15% of Ukrainian territory now, let’s see what happens in the coming months

Bobl, you are lying.

I live in Poland and can tell you, the Polish people and the Polish government do not want Kresy back now. Why? Because it would mean a large minority population and they saw the problem of that in 1939 to 1945.

Poland does not have an irredentist movement.

Even Konfederacja does not want kresy back, but they want acknowledgement of Polish history there, just as in Poland there is acknowledgement of German history in Wrocław, Gdańsk, Poznań itd.

The interesting thing about the grand Duchy of Lithuania before the late 1400s is that, though it was ruled by Lithuanians, its language of administration was old Belarussian

He’s still a total idiot.

He broke the promises of the 1994 Budapest memorandum that he himself ratified in 2004 promising to respect Ukraine’s borders.

And he has shown how weak Russia really is

Poland is not making money on this war.

Where did you get that lie from?

Galicia is already in Poland.

Heck, for the past two years I live in Galicia, or Podkarpackie as it is officially called in Poland

draw a vertical line north and south from Przemyśl and you have approximately the current Polish border

“ALL plea agreements made by criminal defendants are made under duress. They can take whatever is offered or take their chances with a jury verdict. Taking the plea agreement is considered voluntary. It is also considered binding.”

Great point, and now what’s left of Ukraine is learning the PRICE of not complying with the terms of the plea deal that they took.

“I live in Poland and can tell you>>>”

You’re one person who claims to live in Poland and claims to know what everyone there thinks.

Sorry, but there’s now far too many PUBLISHED REPORTS about ‘peacekeepers’ and ‘merging of nations’ to not take those claims seriously. On THIS SITE we go by what’s reported and what’s discussed, not what unknown people (or AI bots, or whatever) might post here.

Looks like Russia is learning the price of trying to enforce it.

“Looks like Russia is learning the price of trying to enforce it.”

So is Europe, and the US to a lesser extent (blowing up the pipelines greatly helped the US, at Europe’s expense)

So, no one wants to say Ukrainian Nationalists are Neo- Nazis. There are many in the Ukies government and military….Bandera statues stand all over Ukraine, as do streets named after the Nazi. The war cheerleaders support Neo- Nazis and don’t even realize it.

You are in hallucination mode for our entertainment. Do Rave on Putinista.

I’m the person who lives in Poland.

I didn’t claim to know what “everyone thinks” —> you did when you falsely claimed that “ Poland wants their land back”

You are constantly repeating that lie and others

The problem with the Minsk agreement was that it was clear Russia was going to ignore it from day 1 and won’t be held responsible. So you have an agreement that one side is blatantly ignoring and the other is being pressured to adhere to.

Ukraine sided with Nazi Germany against Russia. Local police and civilians murdered millions of their own jews without batting an eye

That is true for WWII - they did commit heinous acts.

It has changed since then - I think the effects of decades of shared misery under the USSR has made Ukraine far more accepting of Jews than most other countries in the world - the USA included.

If you think what is happening now will lead to more stability, then you’re even more disconnected from reality that you usually appear to be.

“...you falsely claimed that “ Poland wants their land back”

Actually, I provided an UNSUPPORTED claim, since only Duda knows the REAL truth here. No different than the people who claim that Putin wants to take over Europe.

We’ll only know whether my claim is ‘false’ AFTER Ukraine is fully liberated by Russia and then only if Russia offers Poland a piece of what was Ukraine. If that never happens or becomes irrelevant, due to the Neocons starting a nuclear war, for example, we will NEVER know what Poland really wanted.

As to where you live, sorry but I don’t have access to that to verify, I only hear your claims.

Hard to see how the situation in Ukraine could be any LESS stable than it’s been for the past decade, with the Neocons doing their thing, I’ll stick to my claim that it becomes more stable, once the Neocons are expelled from power in Ukraine.
