Why aren’t they asking the obvious question: And the fbi and doj, which this Republic went without for well over a century, is authorized by what part of the constitution?

There is no cleaning. They are all bad. It must be eliminated — the republic has no need of a national police force.

Defunding is cleaning it out.

There comes a time when it is cheaper to make a payment on new car rather than fixing the old one.

Burn it down
Burn it to the ground
Burn the ground.

Sell the charcoal.

I would rather eliminate it with many other alphabet agencies. Cleaning it out will just not work in real life. Sounds great on paper. Won’t happen in real life.

Plenty of retired LEOs out there who left big-city departments out of disgust at the politicians and their administrations.

Imagine an FBI full of principled, experienced and street-smart agents who don’t really need the money and are willing to tell their bosses to f-off.

Close it down. Let only the most necessary federal policing continue—and hand that over to the US Marshals Service.

If you cannot make the argument that a function of government is best implemented at a local level because you really think that function is important, then you are not a conservative. For instance, you can be very pro education, in fact you can think it is among the most important things for children. You can think it is so important that education should not be interfered with by the federal government and call for the defunding and complete shuttering of the Department of Education, along with the return of complete control at your local school district.

The same thing applies to the FBI. If you really concurrently care about law enforcement and citizens rights, you can call for the complete defunding and shuttering of the FBI, with all law enforcement responsibilities returning to the states and local communities.

Any questions about that? Well, respond with, do you want law enforcement to be local to you or in Washington DC or another place no where near you? Do you want direct control over law enforcement local to you, or some bureaucratic deep state running it? Do you want your local tax dollars to go directly to what your community needs for law enforcement or to have you taxes get washed thru a big machine in Washington and you only see pennies on the dollar in your community.

This has been a non-movable stance in conservatism since Barry Goldwater. America tried it the Democrat and RINO way and failed. We are $32 Trillion in debt and every major federal institution does not work. Every major institution has been politicized and weaponized. So take back control and make things work for your community.

It’s not a difficult argument to make. And for all those crime ridden Democrat cities, they can try all the stuff they dream and talk about without federal interference. They can do it with their own money and maybe quickly realize their crap doesn’t work. Eff’n hang them out to dry.

.... No matter what terms and semmantics you use ..... This will still translate into ... "Defund the Police and Law Enforcement" to Joe Public via the The Democrat Party Propaganda Machine to be used to the fullest extent this election season.

How long have we been dreaming of reforming the Department of Education, NPR, and PBS?

I say defund totally.

Cut the EPA by 60%, the State Department by 40% and DoD by 15%. Let the survivors know that more funding cuts are possible.

Right now there are only two types at the FBI:

a) criminals acting as the Stasi for the regime. These control the agency.

b) opportunists hanging on for a paycheck and pension but who will do what (a) tells them to do.

That's it.

Eliminate it. Fire everyone. Prosecute those deserving of it from field agents to agency heads. Start with a clean slate. Same with many US attorney's offices like SD New York. In the meantime, move the most pressing criminal work to the US Marshalls.

“The inventory shows that 43 empty folders with classified banners were taken from a box or container at the office, along with an additional 28 empty folders labeled as “Return to Staff Secretary” or military aide. Empty folders of that nature were also found in a storage closet.”

the list:

What is most disconcerting was the large number of agents used.

At this point I see lots of negatives and no positives in FBI operations.

I’m not impressed with the DoJ, but maybe Jeff Sessions can suggest a new leader.
