Police respond to Tamaya Resort, nearby businesses under lockdown (near Albuquerque, NM)

SANTA ANA PUEBLO, N.M. — Guests at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort have been told to stay inside their rooms.
The Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel and Twin Warriors Golf Club nearby are also on lockdown.
Police have not released any additional information at this time.
KOB 4 has a crew on the way to the resort.

Prayers up. Friend working there, let his wife know he is OK, locked in room. Appears to be an active shooter. Tamaya resort is a Hyatt resort on Reservation property.

Not a clue. It’s right by the edge of a town called Bernalillo. The local Sheriffs and State cops will probably be in the middle of it and Tribal police gets to be “in charge”. If the shooter survives, FBI will prosecute in Federal court.
I’d expect statements and good info to flow as slow as molasses if it happens on tribal land... especially if it’s a tribal member.
