Perfect description which is why I’m much more concerned with the decline of our military than I am with the threat of foreign adversaries. From the Academy graduates to the grunts off the streets the quality of personnel has gone from bad to worse over the last 20 years. The Special Forces of course are an exception, but those units comprise a very small part of America’s global defense capabilities.

I wonder what the author meant by best? The way he stated that sounded more like it was simply gratuitous and not what he knew to be a fact. We certainly used to be. It wasn’t the fault of the soldiers. The fault with the decline of our military is that the people at the top are more concerned with ideology rather than a strong well trained military.

You are correct...and my sincere apology. I must have him confused with some CyberSpace general, or whatever they call it.
At least he’s a real general and not some dame dressed up in uniform.

I forgot to mention, but I had never heard of General Brown before I saw him being sworn in as USAF Chief of staff. I had an immediate uneasy feeling about him. I still have an uneasy feeling about him. I think he is woke. I got no time for wokeness.
