The shooting does not seem to be justified on the surface, but just want to point out that the 80 year old's house was in the area of some of the more violent BLM - Antifa protests/riots in Kansas City during the George Floyd riots. Perhaps the man had some left over fear from the riots

Actually, this is just tragic. The old guy was probably scared to death because of the tidal wave of black crime and home invasions and murder.
A nice black kid who was going places, paid the price for the fear the ferals spread.
