Pit crews exchanging batteries every 75 miles and zero noise from the cars.

Will be thrilling to watch. Right. Sure.

By 2035, I think NASCAR races will be a max of sixteen miles.

I worked in Elmo Langley’s pit crew (jackman) back in the early ‘70’s...NASCAR was great back then...I really quit paying much attention to NASCAR around 2005...

Thinking the days of Southern red necks drinking Bud Light watching NASCAR heavy iron turn left all day may be coming to an end.

Kind of sad.

“Can’t wait until virtue signaling goes out of style. “

I don’t think it will. The “everybody gets a trophy” generation is now seizing power. This is their country, and they are darn determined to ruin it.

My dad and I watched a lot of NASCAR races back when Richard Petty was driving.

I’m not sure how much they are being paid, probably very little IMO, their sponsors who are the only thing keeping the sport going, since the stands are half empty most of the time, are the ones applying the pressure, this is a plan to avoid losing all their money because of threats of sponsors leaving them.

I don’t know whether NASCAR officials are praying the traditional fans that remain don’t abandon them or they’ve given up caring about fans by surviving on TV and Sponsor Revenue.

I don’t think NASCAR is doing this to improve their product.

Improving its product is all they should be interested in if NASCAR wants to survive as a sport.

There is no proof that NASCAR emissions have any effect on Earth’s atmosphere temperature.
