Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito says he has a "pretty good idea" on who leaked a draft version of a ruling that would overturn Roe v. Wade.
Alito made the comments in an interview with the Wall Street Journal published Friday, stating that while he knows who likely leaked the Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization draft decision, it's not enough for the court to name someone.
The draft decision, published by Politico on May 2, 2022, eventually overturned Roe v. Wade.

Based on the comments, ti’s pretty obvious that whoever leaked the decision had access to a printed hard copy of the draft decision and did not need to go through the computer security system.
Very few people have hard copy access to draft Supreme Court decisions.
He should, he knows exactly who it is. I think he is probably frustrated that Roberts is sitting on it. In other words the perp is getting away with it.
Maybe a stupid question , but did they ever ask the person who published this information , where they got the leaked draft copy from?
I know the Supreme Court said that they did their own internal investigation, but apparently everybody who works there denied leaking to the media. So then the question becomes where did the person who published it get it from?
It simply was not a Federal matter and never should have gotten to the USSC. So it was who controlled the court at the time that mattered. Totally political.

It’s infuriating that the Marshall just threw up her hands and shrugged her shoulders. If she couldn’t close the investigation she should have asked for more resources or handed it off to those who could do a better job.
And like a typical CONservative, he will never have the guts to say.

John Roberts did not want to get the FBI involved.
Roberts did not want to find the leaker.
I suspect that they know exactly who leaked the draft but exposing who did it would cause a nuclear meltdown on the court.
That suggests that the guilty party was not some low level clerk going rogue or that the guilty party was leaking the draft at the direction of someone much higher up.
They never had leaks until now.
So you simply go to the newest Supreme Court justice.

The Marshal never interviewed the justices. All the other worker bees had to sit in and be interviewed or investigated. Now Alito says he thinks he knows who did it but chose not to tell the investigators, what a loser. The double standard continues on.
