As a resident of a red state on the receiving end I can tell you that you are wrong.
That is not happening here-at least not in the rural areas and small towns-that is where most of these escapees are going-they want to be in small cities/in the country because it is cheaper to live, everyone owns firearms and you can do as you please. The ones who don’t want to live this way are not accepted by neighbors-they don’t last here more than 1-2 years before they sell and move out...
You are assuming the escapees are all lefties. Good chance they are conservatives seeking more freedom. The exodus could end up strengthening the red states. If I were younger and had the money I’d flee the blue state I live in for Florida, Texas, or Arizona.
Flooding normal people states with commie loons is not a good thing. While it proves we are right, at the same time it will destroy us.

I don’t think so. We have bought property in Indiana 4 miles across the border and will start building next year. My whole family is as conservative as you can be.
