What needs to be reversed is Wickard v Filburn.
Something tells me that offending the enviro-nuts is most effective when picking fights. They’re just a bunch of white elitists-’educated’. It’s the rest of us who do the heavy lifting work. Their forte is talking a big game-grifters for sex. If it works I’d be one of them too.
Do we need an EPA? Take it out and watch them go crazy. Would blacks care? They’d probably laugh at them.
I hope so. It’s about time to roll back some of the authority federal agencies have taken for themselves.
What could possibly be more important to our country than mandating electric vehicles? This is something that SHOULD be decided by the people’s representatives in Congress, not by some unaccountable rule-writer in the EPA.
Obviously, so strike it down.
This is a good step forward. Limit federal agencies to do exactly and only exactly what the congress approved.
The alphabet agencies have been given far too much power over the past 50 years. It’s time to rein in their power.
The rats are kicking themselves for not packing scotus when they had the chance.
I suspect the justices have had it with overt Leftist threats of lawfare (Clarence Thomas) and assassination.
Didn't we fight a war once about quartering soldiers in peoples houses?
bttt
It is about time. SCOTUS is going to toss the Chevron doctrine on the ash heap of history.
Put the responsibility for enacting laws back in the hands of Congress. This could be the beginning of the end of the administrative state.
About time.
States can now start up with reopepening coal mine, build pipelines, and drilling oil and gas wells without having to get EPA approval.
About time.
Sullivan stooged for the government at the district court level, then handed it off to a 3-judge appeals court panel.
Obama stooge Sri Srinivasan and Clinton stooge Judith Rogers outvoted Trump judge Justin Walker 2 to 1 to continue raping the herring fishermen.
Good. SCOTUS needs to gut our radical EPA since Congress won’t.
bkmk
Best news since the Bruen decision. Can’t wait to see federal power rolled back!
Then I want to see Wickard v. Filburn overruled, along with the CLEARLY unconstitutional NFA. Let’s see if the Supremes can do this before Biden and the Dems complete their destruction of our precious Republic.
THIS is why the dems are hell bent on removing Thomas. It will completely upend, and largely destroy, The Administrative Stae. It will also require CONGRESS to largely write their own bills.
They will go absolutely bonkers now.
Why even have a congress if the agencies can make up their own laws. Even if a law isn’t well-written, how can it possibly have been written to mean some of the weird regulations that are issued... like forcing a fishing boat hire a monitor to examine fish levels.
Or, also current... allow the president to require folks with good credit to pay for the mortgages of folks with bad credit.
How can congress ever have written a law to allow such a thing.
