Honestly, it appears to be staged. Her exaggerated comments seem really contrived. Yet, it could very well be true.
That guy was way too polite. The “Karen” gets about 10 seconds at my front door and is told to bug off.
Two ways for that guy to handle it:
1. Politely inform the woman that it’s none of her business. Then shut the door.
2. Tell her a long, rambling story, about nothing really. Maybe how shoe sizes evolved from ancient times. Make things up as you go along. Do not allow her to interrupt. After all, you let her speak first.
If I was in a hurry, I’d go with option 1. Otherwise, I’d go with option 2, just for my own amusement. I’ve done that with scam phone callers.

My wife is not “girly”. But our daughter was into pink, dresses, princesses, and everything sparkly as early as I can remember. We never pushed it on her. In fact, we never had a gender reveal so all her first clothes were yellow. The girl saw pink one day and that’s all she wanted. Refused all pants and to this day wont wear jeans. Only wants dresses and skirts with leggings at best.
Let the girl choose what she wants.
IMO the father did not handle this conversation correctly. He was far too polite. Being polite just emboldens these loons to be comfortable promoting their insanity. He should have got in her face and asked her loudly and harshly if she realized that she insane. Make it clear she is NOT NELCOME, must leave immediately and not return or the police will be called!
