Former First Lady Michelle Obama announced the launch of a healthy food and beverage company she co-founded that is targeted at fighting childhood obesity.
The former first lady spearheaded the Let’s Move campaign, a program aimed at ending childhood obesity, during her time at the White House. She announced her latest venture at the Wall Street Journal's Future of Everything Festival on Wednesday, May 3.
"We're hoping not to just provide healthy and delicious drinks and snacks for kids, but to jumpstart a race to the top that will transform the entire food industry," Obama wrote in a PLEZi Nutrition press release announcing the launch. "Because let's face it, even after everything we accomplished during the White House years, it is still simply too hard for kids to grow up healthy."
While Obama is PLEZi Nutrition’s co-founder and strategic partner, the company is led by a team of public health, nutrition, and parenting specialists.
PLEZi Nutrition is rolling out its first product, a fruit juice for kids, in four flavors containing 75% less sugar than average leading 100% fruit juices.

We ate at meal times and if we got a rare snack, it was celery sticks with peanut butter. we almost never ate in front of the T.V.
$3.50 for a 4-pack of 8 ounce bottles. Must be quite a mark-up—surely the Obamas aren’t expecting to make a profit on these products aimed at “fighting childhood obesity.”
No one wants her government sponsored grift drink. Like her, it’s dumpster fill.

As an aside, I am surprised she is as healthy as she appears to be considering that she is so frikken angry.
She "appears" to be just another fat butt affirmative action grifter of which we have ....... millions. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give her a 2. But that's only because I've never seen a 1.

I think her hating the country days or over. She loves what they turned it into now.

I remember her mandatory school lunches that starved the kids.
The last time this pastry-gobbler inserted herself into the school lunch program, schools ended up feeding slop to the kids and throwing away more than was consumed.

They are allowed to rename/euphamize
Natural flavor was listed as one of the euphemisms for mono sodium glutamate- MSG.

I consume that and I’m in for at three day migraine.
A better idea.
Home cooked meals of meats, fruits, and veggies, instead of snacks and energy drinks, and get the kids out and moving and off the screen.
And because of that we can be sure that whatever is in that stuff is NOT going to be good for the kids.
That said, as long as there are white people still alive and thriving anywhere in the world, she will still have a belly full of roiling stomach acid.
Can you imagine the breath on that beast? You could peel paint off a house with it.
I think it would be a very smart move for Trump to say, “this is the way, private industry working to help our obesity problem in youth. Good work Michelle!”.
