The Russian army also regularly uses Soviet flags, but at least they are not those nasty Nazi flags. Stalin, after all, was so much nicer than Hitler.
Good. Now break the one in Seattle.
(Pravda, though…)
Give us dirty Lenin.
How is that trolling? It is often stated here by some that Russia is a Christian nstion. I simply am taking that to task.
Russia doesn’t believe in cancelling out their history, unlike us.
Sort of, retread.
What was your previous FR handle(s)?
I had none.

Some parts of history are not worth honoring.
Memorializing a mass murderer is not a good look.
Is Germany not putting up statues of Hitler a
“Canceling” of their history?
When you know what the Nazis did in the Soviet Union (watch “Come and See” for an idea), you can understand why they feel the way they do about “The Great Patriotic War”.
The Czars weren’t much better, neither. But it’s their history. The Brits had bad actors too, that they still celebrate. That’s their business, not mine.
They can remember their victory without honoring Lenin and Stalin.
Not tha Lenin had anything to do with it. Just cant get my head around a supposed Christian country that honors leaders who murdered more Christians than anyone for being Christian. The only conclusion for me is that Russia is not as Christian as claimed.
Chiding and goading Jon Preston when he had just stated that he did not appreciate being pinged to a thread he was not participating in, is the definition of trolling. Your petty school kid antics is not a civil way to act on this forum.

That was in Belarus. 100% of Belarus and Ukrainian territories were under Nazi occupation. 2% of Russia’s territory.
Russians claim the memories of others to justify their murders today.
