This was a common, everyday run-of-the-mill beer that no one had a deep attachment to and that is always surrounded at the store with other common, everyday beers, easy to switch and no reason to return.
They have driven away a large portion of their base and can’t regain those losses, they broke their brand.

I noticed almost 2 decades ago that the presenters had forgotten their basic language courses when their sentences started with- John Doe, he...Jane Doe, she.... Clintons and China are heavily implicated, along with the Bushes. Thank the bleeding heart liberals that don’t know there are things to keep out of one’s kingdom...kind of like God does. I drank that in High School. The town bar/pool hall had it on tap. Keeping us in one place with 3.2 beer tended to keep us out of trouble. We never saw the police around it, but when the fire station alarm went off, a whole bunch of people ran a block to the truck. LOL. Lots to love about small towns, and years of (self) therapy for the rest.
