Mark Levin, who hosts Life, Liberty & Levin on Fox News, tweeted a link to Ron DeSantis’ presidential campaign fundraising page shortly after the Florida governor announced his candidacy on Wednesday.
The post did not go over well with supporters of former President Donald Trump, who is also running for the Republican nomination.
DeSantis officially announced in a glitch-ridden Twitter Spaces event that was delayed by about 20 minutes because the platform’s servers couldn’t handle the uptick in traffic. While DeSantis supporters cast the crash as a testament to the governor’s popularity, one former Twitter employee told CNN that Spaces is essentially a prototype. “It’s a beta test that never ended,” the source said.
Not long after the event concluded, DeSantis appeared on Fox News Tonight and made his pitch to viewers. Soon after, Levin, who has 3.5 million Twitter followers, tweeted a link to the governor’s WinRed donations page.
Levin’s tweet was not well received by paid blue checkmark supporters of Trump.
“Mark, Mark, Mark… So sad,” one replied. “F no,” tweeted another. Meanwhile, another user tweeted a GIF of Pepe the Frog wearing a clown wig and nose. “It’s over,” yet another user wrote. “Mark Levin has gone woke.” And another Twitter user appeared to be going through some things. ***
Update: Mark Levin addressed the outrage on Twitter, stating the he often posts the campaign websites of candidates he has on his radio show. Recently he posted a link to Vivek Ramaswamy’s website after an interview with the 2024 presidential hopeful.

Freedom of choice
Is what you got
Freedom from choice
Is what they want
Hat tip to Devo
As an aside, from personal experience, if you donate to a candidate through WinRed, expect to receive endless text messages and emails.
Actually that line is:
Freedom From Choice
Is What You Want
Mark Levin has been a solid Trump supporter….at least since he stopped attacking him and abandoned Cruz.
But yes, Levin has been endlessly Trump.
He tries to be even-handed and he gets pilloried. Not shocking.
Levin was against Trump before he was for him before he was against him again.
As a Spudboy, I know that.
I remember him as being against Trump.
You had an uncontrollable urge to point that out, didn’t you?
Let the voters decide. Isn’t that what primaries are all about?
Trump has a 37% lead on DeSantis in the latest poll. He should do fine, but the Marxists will try to imprison him at some point. Next year will be very interesting.
Push is coming to shove for the survival of our nation.
Yes Mark, but did you post a link directly to Vivick’s donation page?
Are FOX News hosts supposed to be actively promoting donations to candidates Mark?
Ol’ Yeller is like all the Fox crowd.
Saying what he is told to say for a bowl of rice and a book deal.
it is astounding that DeImpatience is 4/1 to Trump’s 2/1.
it is also a haha to the premise.
So effing what that someone points to a donations line to a primary candidate? A good debate is good for the race.
What, you want something like the DNC put on for 2024? Oh, that’s right, BeijinBiden is gonna hide in the cellar again.
The “conflict” is being staged by the commie trash in power. Don’t play their game. And, do not believe anything either is supposed to have said without corroboration. The commie trash control the MSM and lie about everything. If you hear any MSM station (now that includes Fox) say anything about any candidate, it is 99% a lie.
Levin was Never Trump until it started hurting his numbers, so he pretended to be pro-Trump.
That’s why I quit listening to him years ago.
Y’all might want to cut Mark some slack. He is an extremely well informed individual (unlike a lot us) and constitutional attorney. He calls it the way he sees it. At one he wasn’t for DJT, but gave DJT a chance after seeing his policies.
Can’t fault the guy for thinking . . .
A neocon at heart. Not surprised.
ditto
He was pretty much an a-hole also directing his irrational acrimony to those that supported Trump.
Folks have to remember, Levin was totally anti-Trump in ‘15-’16. Caused me to quit listening to him. Rush was the same way, but at least Rush came around.
I remember the early primary season in 2015-2016.
If you were all in on Trump as I was from the minute he gave his announcement speech marking the illegal invasion as his signature issue, you looked very closely who in talk radio was leaning which way.
I may have had a blind spot towards Rush Limbaugh, but I thought he approached the Republican field very fairly.
Levin on the other hand did not.
The MAJOR question concerning Cruz as Canadian born was his eligibility, a question for the self-proclaimed “constitutional scholar” which at the least should have given him hesitancy.
The question needed to have been THOROUGHLY debated in the primary because the Democrats were NEVER going to raise such a question in the Republican primary.
Cruz’s nomination would have been a gift to the Democrats because they would have certainly taken it to the courts had he gotten the nomination.
And even if the courts had ruled in Cruz’s favor which I doubt, he would have had to spend way too much of the campaign addressing his eligibility.
Anyway Levin’s claim that he was just trying to be fair and open to all candidates rings hollow with me.
I am skeptical of anybody taking a check from the Evil Media Empire of Rupert Murdoch who claims they are not in the tank for the Deep State’s front man.
When I hear someone claiming they were just trying to be fair to all the candidates, I think of the dearly missed Rush.
Rush was FAIR.
And Rush NEVER put up NO stinkin’ links to any candidate.
“Can’t fault the guy for thinking . . .”
Au contraire...you certainly can around here.
