With the Biden administration preparing to end Title 42 on Thursday, and Texas bracing for the coming onslaught, several border security measures were approved in a meeting of the Texas House that lasted until nearly 2 a.m. The centerpiece bill, however, was defeated after House Speaker Dade Phelan sustained a point of order on the bill, sending it back to committee past the deadline for bills to be considered.

Texas Speaker of the House, Dade Phelan, is becoming a more notorious RinoRat by the day. Following the referenced article re. His killing birder security legislation, he presided over the house in the overtime session s—-faced drunk, and most recently led the charge to impeach the popular and effective State AG, Ken Paxton. Phelan is the one who should be impeached or better, tarred and feathered.

Paxton went after Covid vaccine manufacturers about a month ago and Ike’s suits against the US for election fraud. He’s over the target.

This is why Paxton was impeached though & may even paly a part here as well:

On May 19, 2023, Phelan struggled to speak while executing his duties as speaker of the Texas House. Fellow Republican and attorney general Ken Paxton called upon Phelan to resign due to "apparent debilitating intoxication". Phelan "negatively impacted the legislative process and constitutes a failure to live up to his duty to the public", according to the statement.

Time for voters to wake up and remove him.

He should be up for reelection this year. Now is the time for a real patriot to challenge him in the primaries, to remove him from office.
