Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.) is condemning the fatal shooting of a 14-year-old Black boy by a convenience store clerk in Columbia, S.C.
In a statement this week, Clyburn said he is praying for “swift justice” for Cyrus Carmack-Belton, who was shot in the back after a convenience store owner falsely accused him of shoplifting on Sunday night.
“I’m horrified and deeply saddened by the senseless murder of 14-year-old Cyrus Carmack-Belton in Columbia this weekend,” Clyburn said. “His family and loved ones should be celebrating his recent eighth grade graduation from Summit Parkway Middle School. Instead, they are mourning this unimaginable loss. My prayers are with them and the entire community during this devastating time.”

I wonder why Clyburn hates so many black children?
He wants justice for this one black child, but has said NOTHING about justice for the hundreds of Black children being murdered in cities around the country.
The hypocrisy of these politicians/media whores is suffocating.

Alleged shoplifter with a gun. No info on the gun yet?
Nobody deserves to be murdered for stealing a water bottle from a store.
The article though makes great leaps. The police said they had no “evidence” the boy stole anything. They don’t know if the kid threw the bottles away to avoid getting caught with them.
Then Clyburn calls the boy “innocent”.
The police did recover a gun lying next to the boy after the boy was shot.
The boy was 14 years old. I’m pretty sure that a 14-year-old possessing a gun is a felony. Democrats always push for tough gun laws, but they never seem interested in actually enforcing those laws, except when it serves their political purposes.
The police say the boy did not point the weapon, or at least nobody has claimed he pointed the weapon.
I’m guessing that in South Carolina, it will not be considered self-defense to chase a 14-year-old boy and then shoot the boy if you see he has a gun.
So, I’m guessing this store owner will go to jail.
The store owner has a case for defamation against Clyburn.
“His supposed crime of shoplifting a bottle of water should not have cost him his life.”
Obviously not the case.
Has he expressed any concern for the tens of thousands of murdered black Chicagoans? Every one a “senseless” murder.
Did Clyburn say anything about Ashli Babbitt?
Nothing screams innocent like a ‘teen’ illegally possessing a gun. I’m sure he was just picking up some things for his grandma.
THe kid was committing a robbery. Upon being questioned the kid pointed his gun at the store owner who shot him and
killed him.
Its racis’ if you do not allow a black kid to point a gun at you.
Do not forget that. Make sure you pull your trigger first.
He was shot because they saw he had a gun.
Never the less, it is very sad.
God killed 42 mouthy kids for calling someone baldy.

“Store owner Rick Chow, 58, was charged Monday with Carmack-Belton’s killing and was in custody as of Tuesday. According to authorities, Chow believed Carmack-Belton had stolen four water bottles from his Shell station after he and Chow’s son had an argument.”
I figured that the store owner wasn’t white because the headline would be WHITE Store Owner Kills Black Child.
Woo Hoo! while murder and chaos rages in black communities across America, at least we have been able to find another innocent black victim!
