President Donald Trump is turning up the heat this summer as he is set to start campaigning in Iowa and speaking at multiple conservative conferences.
This week, President Trump is scheduled to travel to Iowa on Wednesday and Thursday, the campaign announced.
On Wednesday, May 31, he will appear for an in-studio interview with Simon Conway on 1040 WHO Des Moines, according to the Trump campaign.
On Thursday, June 1, he will meet with supporters and grassroots leaders prior to participating in a town hall hosted by Fox News’ Sean Hannity. The town hall will mark the second on-air cable TV event he has participated in since announcing his candidacy for president in November 2022. Previously, he took part in a CNN live town hall event.
Prior to his appearance on Fox, Trump is also scheduled to make an appearance at the Westside Conservative Club. The group meets at a restaurant called Machine Shed, CBS2 Iowa revealed.
This is not the first time that Trump has visited the restaurant. In March, the president dropped by the eatery following a speech that he delivered in Davenport.
On Saturday, June 24, Trump will deliver keynote remarks at the Iowa Faith & Freedom Coalition’s “Road to Majority Policy Conference” event at the Washington Hilton in Washington, D.C. According to a statement from the Faith & Freedom Coalition, the event will showcase more than 70 speakers and host around 3,000 guests over the weekend.
“The purpose of the conference is to empower conservative activists to fight for their values at the polls and in the public arena and to equip attendees with the knowledge and connections they need to drive engagement and voter turnout,” their press statement explained.
In July, the president is also slated to deliver anticipated remarks at the Turning Point Action Conference in West Palm Beach, Florida. The event will be held on July 15 and 16, per RSBN.
At least DeSantis is moving Trump to the right.
