A majority of voters, including Democrats, do not agree with "woke" influencers that there are more than two genders and that minors should have easy access to sexual identity modifications.
In a blow to the campaign pushed by the Biden administration and some in corporate America, the latest Rasmussen Reports survey said that a whopping 71% of likely voters believe that there are just two genders, male and female, not the salad of others highlighted during June’s Pride Month.

The debate over genders has exploded in recent months and hit a fever pitch when Bud Light featured a pitch to younger drinkers by using a trans influencer. The public rejected the campaign, and sales have tanked 30%.
The new survey also found that majorities support laws barring hormone replacement therapy and sex changes for minors.
Several states have recently enacted legislation prohibiting transgender treatment for minors. Sixty-two percent (62%) of Americans approve of legislation making it illegal to perform sex-change surgery on minors,” the poll analysis said.
It added, “Fifty-nine percent (59%) of Americans approve of laws making it illegal to give hormone replacement therapy (HRT) to minors, including 59% who strongly approve.”

Actually there are numerous but rare chromosome combinations such as XXY, XXXY, XYY etc. They are however immutable and cannot be altered by science or whim.

I'm amazed that it is not 99.1%. I learned how to tell the difference between "boy puppies" and "girl puppies" before kindergarten, and between boy and girl babies long before that. It's OBVIOUS.
What's amazing is that some people ignore this.
The primary problem is the word gender. Gender is, or was, used to describe the attributes of an object. With people the word is sex. At all but one of the doctor offices I’ve been at you fill out a form. The choice is male, or female. In one office there was also prefer not say. But in ordinary conversation people started using “gender” as a way of getting around the now hot topic of sex. Nobody says, “what gender is your baby?” Although, unless I knew the person very well, I’d just not use this conversation opener. That’s for the same reason society has switched from sex to gender, people on the left are like walking sticks of sweating dynamite. Nobody has the desire in their regular life to suddenly deal with a crazy person, so we pussyfoot and society rots just a little more. I read that last year there was 2500 cases in the US where an airline passenger got violent. Twenty years ago, I’ll bet the number was less than ten.

I'm disappointed that 29 % are oblivious to the obvious.
Your heart’s in the right place, but when arguing with these people, especially in front of teenagers, be aware that there are rare, other combinations (XO, XXY, XYY) and be prepared to discuss why those are not relevant.
So-called transgenderism is NOT caused by monosomy X (Turner’s Syndrome), or either of the trisomy sex assortments (XXY or XYY). Those are very rare and usually cause obvious physical changes.
I have seen people make the case for two sexes (undeniable) and then fall apart when confronted with “the science” about other human sex chromosome arrangements.
“Transgenderism” and especially the claim that “transwomen are women” is not about chromosomes, except in the sense that the existence of two non-changeable sexes in humans is defined by chromosomes. The existence of mutants does not change that basic fact.
30 years ago, the headline would have read:
MAJORITY: NO to gay marriage by large majority
It’s the 3rd worldization of America
+1! People have a sex, grammar has gender. Read Dickens or Conan Doyle: sex.
But it seems today the term “sex” is like a dirty word to many, that must at best be whispered.
