Mayor Eric Adams on Sunday stopped by two Manhattan migrant sites — the former iconic Roosevelt Hotel and Times’ Square’s landmark Candler Tower — to meet with asylum-seekers and get quick tours.
Adams ducked into the Roosevelt in Midtown at 11 a.m., was given a general walk-through of the 1,000-room facility and greeted some migrants along the way during his roughly 45-minute pit stop, sources told The Post.

Mayor: “Jamal, which cameras are on? It’s easier to see the lights when it’s not so sunny out. How long do I have to be out here? Cue me when I have to start pretending to be compassionately concerned.”

Did he recommend some of the best places to eat in midtown?
Did he take the Potemkin Village Tour?
Next time bring AOC and Kamala the migrant czar and have them link arms with you in the middle like Martin Luther King used to do in marches.

It can’t be said often enough that all but the tiniest percentage of these people are economic migrants. Economic migrants do not qualify for asylum
Is that the Roosevelt Hotel’s doorman escorting the illegals into the bus? Every illegal shown has newer sneakers than I have. Pretty nifty knapsacks as well. Even their clothes looks newer than my 10 year old threads. Maybe a dumb question but where are these illegals going? Aren’t they supposed to be there in place of a shelter? The same article stated children as young as 10 years old drinking and partying. 2-3 births a month. The hotel Whistleblower better be careful. During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act. I doubt that the Mayor will be meeting with the Whistleblower any time soon.
Under Biden, the asylum approval rate lurches closer and closer to 50%. Of all the applicants, probably less then 200 per year have been actually persecuted or had a well founded fear of future persecution. But even for those who do get rejected, the main goal of delaying deportation is achieved. After that they either find some other basis to stay, such as not reporting back to immigration court.

Who is conspiring with the corrupt heads of NYC unions to take away the Medicare + private insurance promised by the City code to its retiree EMTs, police, firemen, teachers, etc. and force them to accept the vastly inferior Aetna Medicare Advantage plan. The illegals get free housing and surgical and medical care, welfare and food. Deadly terrorists and gang members are coming in every day among the throngs across the border and into cities and towns. People are giving up on the American Dream. Crime is outpacing some Third World countries and people are living in fear. City budgets are into serious red ink territory. Police are quitting from being under fire and disdain.
Otherwise, everything is “fine.” “Okay.”
Wonder if he visited the Row Hotel? 5,000 illegal aliens are just waiting to give him a tour.
