I was there.
“The group held a 10 minute moment of silence at the top of every hour followed by reading off the names of kids that have died due to gun violence.”
how about reading the names of all the kids that have died from street drug ODs? that list would far, far, exceed gun deaths ... and all due to biden’s open border ...
Muuuuuuch better.
;’}
Well isn’t that special...
The group, “Here 4 The Kids,” wants Gov. Jared Polis to sign an executive order banning guns altogether
Present!
We’re not living in a dictatorship yet, but you can see it from here.
Reminds me of 1970, yes, 1970 when various anti-gun radicals demanded an end to the ownership of all firearms, not just handguns.
The Denver Post declared that any gun that cost $45 dollars was a “Saturday Night Special” and needed to be banned. That $45 would be the equivalent of a $450 handgun today. They had a photo of a Ruger Mk II as a typical SNS.
Sitting on their brains like that has obviously affected their cognitive function.
As a mental exercise, wouldn’the opposite of this be:
Gun owners shooting protesters because they believe the First Amendment should not apply?
I’m all for banning guns that engage in violence unilaterally.
Do this and expect the Western third of Colorado attempt to join Utah, and the Eastern third desire to join Wyoming or Nebraska.
That was a racist term ... referred to a cheap pistol that was (supposedly) only fit for the festivities on a "niggertown Saturday night".
So the Fed’s can have all there guns. And Military can have their guns? But the PEOPLE cannot!!
It is simply not enough to ban all guns.
Guns can be fabricated.
Therefore, it is important to ban all metal, for they can be used to make guns... and to ban all chemicals, for they can be used to make propellent for cartridges.
You simply must ban every element in the periodic table.
It’s for the children. IF IT SAVES ONE LIFE, IT’S WORTH IT!
I remember when California Citizens voted down Prop 15, a bill to ban all handguns in the state. It was guaranteed by Handgun Control Inc to be a shoo- in.
But that was 1982. A new generation has arrived “which knew not Joseph.” and are willing to give up liberty for safety, something both Cicero and Ben Franklin warned about.
“When men give up their freedom willingly in the name of security, they will soon lose even that degraded security.”—CICERO
Copy this quote! I found it in a March 1988 copy of a Republican booklet that was “The Official Organ of the Republican Party.” It is hard to find today!
“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”
― Benjamin Franklin
Needless to say, today’s libs have twisted themselves into pretzels trying to claim such words were never spoken by them.
Are these the same mothers who look into the camera with that crazed look and “demand” full-term abortions and partial birth abortions?
Another quote to remember and copy!
“Both oligarch and tyrant mistrust the people, and therefore deprive them of their arms.”
– Aristotle
Remember when Georgia attempted to ban guns in the early 1800s?
Their STATE Supreme Court shut that down real quick!
* Nunn v. State, 1 Ga. (1 Kel.) 243, at 251 (1846).
“’The right of the people to bear arms shall not be infringed.’ The right of the whole people, old and young, men, women and boys, and not militia only, to keep and bear arms of every description, and not such merely as are used by the militia, shall not be infringed, curtailed, or broken in upon, in the smallest degree; and all this for the important end to be attained: the rearing up and qualifying a well-regulated militia, so vitally necessary to the security of a free State.”
