President Biden is undergoing a root canal at the White House on Monday after complaining of tooth pain, his physician said in a letter released to the public.
Biden’s dental team examined him Sunday and took X-rays after the president said he was experiencing pain in one of his teeth, presidential physician Kevin O’Connor said.
The dental team determined a root canal would be necessary to address the issue, O’Connor said, adding they performed the initial procedure Sunday at the White House.
“The President tolerated the procedure well. There were no complications,” O’Connor said.

That will make him difficult to understand over the next few weeks....
Too much ICE CREAM.........................
Reminds me...
Getting sanity from this regime is like Pulling Teeth.
For some reason my lower left side cannot be anesthetized.
Twice root canals gave me agonizing pain every second of drilling and poking around in the teeth.
Biden probably had Satan sheltering him and the lidocaine worked fine.
The Taliban send their wishes for a speedy recovery.
A root canal is close to his real problem but no cigar.
Probably the reason he was mumbling/stuttering/confusing his words... everything will be just fine now. [sarc]
I’m guessing they had to pull his head out of his a$$ before they could get to the tooth.
Standard medication that dentists prescribe for root canal or teeth extraction is hydrocodone or Loratab.
Ive been in pain ever since this corrupt jack@@ stole the election
I had the same problem my entire life, so dentistry was always painful for me including six root canals.
Just a couple of years ago, I had a dentist who gave me three successive novicaine shots, and I could still feel the drilling.
He pondered it, then gave me a final shot which absolutely killed the pain. After that, I could have solved quadratic equations while he drilled.
He told me I had an unusual variant of my nerve structure in my mandible, and now when I go in, he gives me one or two shots, and I have no problems at all.
I have wondered since then how many other people who have painful dentistry might benefit from a shot in a slightly different area.
LOL!
only movie scene that ever made me shudder...
I had a molar extraction last week (Tooth #19). Dental surgeon did a good job. Although at one point, his numbing needle dinged a nerve under the gum - YOW! Lightning bolt in my jaw!
He prescribed 800mg Ibuprofen and Oxycodone-Acetaminophen for post-surgical pain, but I didn't need it. Pain was minimal. Worst part was the bleeding, but that's all healed up.
In 3 months I'll be fitted for an implant.
I can’t believe he has even one tooth left in his mouth.
America needs a similar “root canal”........
