Do you realize that Article I, section 2, clause 5 specifically names bribery as an impeachable offense? There’s no guessing as to what high crimes and misdemeanors mean, bribery is spelled out right there in black and white.

They obviously have a copy of the document, they just wanted to see the original to make sure that what they had is real. Now that they see that the copy they have is real, they should go ahead and publish the entire document, it’s not a classified document.
