Having that in an autopsy report is totally inappropriate.

I agree in principle, but I suspect the coroner wanted the absolute minimum of distraction, so conceded what he or she thought was a minor point, to avoid unnecessary controversy. People like us are sane, and will cringe when we see that, but the people it pacifies are insane, and will go off like a Beirut warehouse full of ammonium nitrate if they were to use the correct description of her sex.

The Medical Examiner was likely privy to Audrey Hale's tranifesto which pointed to her mental illness as a major contributing factor to her death.

There were psych drugs in the report. If you are stoked to the hills on prescription drugs it’s not “drugs of abuse”. She was on benzos. Also some methadone and fentanyl. She was on several prescriptions of drugs that are labeled as causing homicidal ideation. The doctor is trying to cover it up by calling it “drugs of abuse”.
