The whole country does not have such a law -- some states do, and some don't. I think it's fewer than half the states that have a law like this.

I like DeSantis, but I find this particular position of his disappointing.

Shove your TDS where the sun doesn’t shine. Other states having laws like this doesn’t make it right. Florida didn’t have a law until now. Going with the crowd when it comes to government is generally not a good idea.
