Democrats have been waging a war on guns for decades.
Like other wars that feckless American “elites” have waged against inanimate objects (such as drugs) or military tactics (like terrorism), the war on guns will completely miss the mark.
The goal is supposedly about public safety.
Yet, of the roughly 81 million registered gun owners in the United States, hardly any of them—around 12 percent—have used their firearms to commit crimes. The vast majority of gun crime in America is done with illicit firearms, usually perpetrated by criminals.
So why is the Biden Administration intent on trying to make lawful gun ownership so hard? It isn’t about public safety at all.
In fact, it is clearly about control.
Speaking at an anti-gun summit in Connecticut, President Biden stunned cynical audiences when he offered his most vociferous opposition to guns yet.
Using the 1,600 mass shootings that occurred since he was sworn in a mere 877 days ago, Biden made an impassioned plea to increase restrictions on gun ownership in the United States (this, as his own son, Hunter, was revealed to have illegally been in possession of a firearm).

If bidet wants to be very efficient in collecting guns, the answer is elementary, every person going out to collect them should bring his own body bag. It would be very efficient and save a great deal of time. The American people seem very pissed!
12% of “firearms owners” have used a firearm to commit a crime? 12% of 81 million is 9.72 million.
I call BS on this.
The problem:
It’s not OUR guns,
It’s YOUR sons.
I don’t know if I should tell you this or not, But Joe Biden is not at war with guns. He is at war with the American People, not guns. not crime, the American People. His goal is to disarm the American People.
The guns are just a means to an end.

I still remember 1962 when Dems Thomas J. Dodd and Emanuel Celler were calling for registration of handguns only! “Long guns will not be affected!”
The lies we have been told over the years...
1962 We ONLY want to register handguns. Rifles will not be affected!
1964, We ONLY want to register ALL firearms, not ban them.
1968 We ONLY want to register all guns, and ban the import of foreign Saturday Night Specials, and 5-shot bolt action army surplus rifles! (they got the ban).
1970, We ONLY want to ban small American handguns. Rifles will not be affected!
1976 We ONLY want to ban ALL handguns! Rifles will not be affected!
1981, Actress Lee Grant on Good Morning America (ABC) screams...”THE NRA IS A RIFLE ORGANIZATION! THEY SHOULD GIVE UP THEIR HANDGUNS AND THEY CAN KEEP THEIR RIFLES!”

We have been up against a stacked deck ever since.
Yes, That piece of statistics is untrue.
In the age of computers, garbage in is garbage out.
But once the garbage is entered, it suddenly must be true. Just try to get a single entry removed.
If those numbers are correct, nobody should leave their homes.

to ban guns because criminals use them, is to tell honest law abiding citizens that their rights and liberties depend not on their own conduct but on the guilty and lawless...

Only 12% have used guns to commit crimes. Where the hell have I heard that “demographic” number before?
Meanwhile, the SOB left 700,000 FULLY automatic weapons behind in Afghanistan.
I have no idea what is meant by 81 million REGISTERED gun owners in the United States.
There are many different sources of gun ownership and surveys. But I thought that a “gun registry” was illegal for federal agencies. Some states require firearm registration, but many don’t.
This makes me question everything about the article.
There are 37 DUI automotive deaths in America each day.
We need to ban alcohol. It worked out well the first time.
And assault automobiles? Driving is a privilege, not a right. Ban them outright.
Problem solved.
I say give them what they want and make it a FELONY punishable by 10-20 years in Prison for ANY person to have anyone in their employ or employed on their behalf, to be in Possession of ANY firearm, Weapon or Ammunition FOR THE PURPOSE OF SECURITY OR PROTECTION.
NO MORE HIRED GUNS FOR ANYONE!!
