Mark Zuckerberg goes in for the kill as Elon Musk’s Twitter bleeds ad dollars

Zuckerberg’s most trusted lieutenants, unveiled what he called “our response to Twitter”.

The product chief showed off what has internally been codenamed “Project 92”, or in some iterations “Barcelona”: a prototype app that the Facebook-developer hopes will finally kill its rival.

The app is expected to be called Threads and screenshots suggest it will feature a continuous scroll of text like Twitter with buttons similar to the Like and Retweet functions, according to technology news site The Verge.

Zuckerberg’s company is already courting celebrities and influencers to test the app. Meta has been negotiating with TV host Oprah Winfrey and Tibetan religious leader the Dalai Lama to open accounts, hoping that high-profile early users can help tempt the masses to join.

Mark Suckerberg helped destroy the United States by giving hundreds of millions of dollars to ballot creation operations.

He is an enemy of humanity.

Zuckerberg is all about control. Younger people prefer to use TikTok and Snapchat. Who wants TikTok banned? Zuckerberg. Who will benefit from it? Zuckerberg.

I don’t see it. Facebook works because of revenue for ads to older people. This is why meta failed so spectacularly. There was too huge a divide from youth who are fixated on insta and TikTok already, but the younger set is already leaving insta now because TikTok is so hypnotizing.

Twitter has a different set of conservatives/centrists that don’t want to be censored. Zuck thinks he can get the centrists/left who might leave for a while, but they’ll never stay if zucktwitter becomes an echo chamber. People won’t leave BECAUSE of Elon and at least the facade of free speech on Twitter.

I don’t really understand. What does ‘bleeds ad dollars’ mean? He’s advertising a lot? He’s losing money on advertising? What?

I think it refers to TWTR’s 50% drop in ad revenue since it is no longer part of the Govt Ind Censorship Complex.

This is despite it doing over 5million tweets a day-which is more than under the previous ownership.

Zuckerberg’s vision continues to be an intolerant Walled Garden. Musk will prevail if he continues to minimize the censorship.

Zuckerberg is a political KAPO. Poisonous to America. Go with Musk. He knows how to fight America’s liberal/MARXIST alliance.

Elon (richest man on earth) didn’t buy Twitter to make money. He has much bigger plans for it. Free speech is part of that design.

Zuckerberg the freak cannot win this.

Bad enough, he censures on Facebook. Now he will do it on his new site.

So far, ‘Z’ has not trimmed back on his manpower budget (like Elon), so I think he’s the one who will face economic woes over the next twelve months.

How will it "kill Twitter" when if users criticize Oprah or the Dalai Lama (both suspected of involvment in child trafficking) they will be insta-banned?

It’ll be the other way round.

Musk will win the war I believe. Zuckerberg will do well to remember MySpace!

I don’t really understand. What does ‘bleeds ad dollars’ mean? He’s advertising a lot? He’s losing money on advertising? What?

The wet dream of the left is that because Twitter advertising is down, it is bleeding money. Twitter is not publicly traded and does not reveal its financials anymore.

But just remember, Twitter cut somewhere between 60%-70% of its workforce. The same people who claim it is "bleeding money" predicted it would collapse without all the staff.

Well, it did not collapse. Twitter is working better than ever and more people are using it than ever.

The gov't has put a target on Musk's back and their allies in tech, like Zuckerberg, are going to try and destroy him.

But Musk is smarter than all of them.

Don't forget, Biden DOJ is investigating Musk over the Twitter deal and if there is a minor error, expect an indictment.
