Hunter Biden won’t be charged with money laundering, bribery or trafficking after ‘slap on the wrist’ plea deal
New York Post ^ | June 20, 2023 5:31pm Updated | Josh Christenson

Hunter Biden appears to have ducked other possible charges — including money laundering, bribery and human trafficking — as part of a plea agreement he entered into with federal prosecutors that is likely to result in him serving no jail time.

The president’s 53-year-old son will plead guilty to two misdemeanor counts of failing to pay his federal income taxes on at least $3 million he earned from overseas business dealings, and he will participate in a pretrial diversion arrangement for a felony firearms charge after he lied about his drug use on a gun purchasing form in 2018.

However, court filings revealing the deal make no mention of more serious charges Hunter’s laptop indicates he exposed himself to.

Unregistered foreign agent

Hunter likely violated the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) while negotiating lucrative business deals with entities in China, Mexico, Romania, Russia and Ukraine during and after Joe Biden’s tenure as vice president — with George Washington University Law Professor Jonathan Turley last year calling the evidence “unassailable and undeniable.”

The then-second son visited his father at least 30 times at the Obama White House and at Joe Biden’s Delaware home, often within days of meetings with foreign nationals, according to schedules found on his abandoned laptop.

Other emails from the laptop show Hunter Biden may have passed along funding requests to then-Vice President Biden from the crown prince of Yugoslavia and the crown princess of Serbia, as well as peddled access to his influential father to cash in on construction contracts in Colombia.

“If Hunter relayed the request for US government assistance then that would be a FARA-registrable event,” Craig Engle, a FARA expert and head of the political law practice at Arent Fox Schiff, told The Post in July 2022.

Will he provide evidence against his father? Or have they cut this off and holding his father harmless?

The real scandal is why is Trump’s military veteran valet indicted in an attempt to get Trump,
But they are not even trying to pressure Joe Biden through Hunter.

It's good to be the son of the president.
At least Dem presidents, I doubt any of Trump's sons would have been offered a sweetheart deal like this.

Next biden will pardon himself if he is charged. I thought this was just over the gun thing but they are actually letting him off of the bribery. The laptop means nothing anymore. Unreal. If they close this then I wonder if they just close the whole case and it’s done.

More lawfare from the deep state. You or I would have been sentenced to 40 years in prison...minimum.

A rotten clickbait for Salon.com says:
Worse than a bust: Republicans’ Biden blockbuster blows up in their faces.

No.
The law was warped unfairly. It was not a blockbuster invented by the GOP, it was a miscarriage of justice once again. Many people are in prison for a few of Hunter’s crimes. The elite deal didn’t apply to them

I guess we can expect two or three hundred thousand outraged patriots to show up on the National Mall to protest this legalistic atrocity...

Just who do these communists think they are?

No high powered Lawyer agrees to a deal without guarantees that no more charges are coming.

The case is obviously closed. We are talking some of the best lawyers in the country.

This is the 2 tier justice system in full view. No one else would get this light penalty for those crimes.

Future criminals can pled the Hunter defense.

According to Breitbart, that’s not true. The bribery charge is still under investigation, so to speak.

This is what a failed nation state looks like.

Not even a pretense of being a republic under law any longer. Done.

I know if I owed the IRS $1.2 million, I would be facing full charges.

.
Dirty Delaware Weiss can’t now open his books. He can’t let people see that he didn’t assign people to investigate. He was to protect the 53 yr old Boy.

The Statutes have run on much of the activity. He is only now protecting his crimes in the Coverup.

Nixon fired several AG’s in that incident. What is the parallel here?
