A federal judge has struck down Florida rules championed by Gov. Ron DeSantis restricting Medicaid coverage for transgender treatments
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- A federal judge on Wednesday struck down Florida rules championed by Gov. Ron DeSantis restricting Medicaid coverage for gender dysphoria treatments for potentially thousands of transgender people.
“Gender identity is real” and the state has admitted it, U.S. District Judge Robert Hinkle wrote in a 54-page ruling.
He said a Florida health code rule and a new state law violated federal laws on Medicaid, equal protection and the Affordable Care Act's prohibition of sex discrimination.

Government needs to be dismantled to its bare essentials. In this case, Medicaid needs to be on the chopping block. No able bodied person should receive government assistance of ANY kind. If Medicaid did not exist in its current form then gender denial affirmation by Medicaid would never be an issue.
Another pervert judge who thinks men can be women and visa versa, when science and biology have no evidence for it, and shows it isn’t real.
The Same Two DemonRats Obama Federal Judges the Rats always steer these
ridiculous lawsuits to .
Its like Ground Hog day .
Would you expect a better ruling??? U.S. District Judge Robert Hinkle is a senior federal judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida.02 He joined the court in 1996 after being nominated by President Bill Clinton.
A Bill Clinton Appointee …. Figures
It's not a lie intended to deceive. It is a loyalty test.
Federal judges that have the power to handle civil cases should be required to wear special uniforms when out in public.
The home addresses of federal judges should be a matter of public record unless the judge has agreed to only handle criminal cases.
“The Congress shall have power...To make rules for the government.”
Federal judges in the future should be appointed to handle either civil or criminal cases. Those who would get an entitlement to handle civil cases should have to agree to wear the special uniform and publish their home addresses as public legal notices.
Rewrite the law to assess a “FEE” on ALL Federal Employee’s income.tips.wages and assets to specifically pay for all transgender, gender dysphoria... medical needs.
Medicaid will pay for electively chopping body parts off of poor folks,
but won’t give them essential dental care and teeth to eat.
seems about right

I could be having a heart attack here in Florida and Florida Medicaid would not cover me, but Florida will have to pay to chop the boobs off a mentally deranged teenage girl.
Crazy!
In 1923, people in the US lived without federal government handouts.
Obamacare strikes again
Revise your will if you are planning to leave money to a medical institution that mutilates teenage girls.
Google the name of the institution plus gender.
We have an adult son who was born with a myriad of physical and cognitive complications. Among other things, he has leg length discrepancy (requiring a shoe lift), and he has foot drop on the same side (nerve damage).
Medicaid refuses to pay for a brace to stabilize his foot/ankle so he doesn’t constantly roll his ankle. We have to fight them tooth and nail to pay for a lift in ONE pair of shoes per year. ONE!
And, unlike body butchering for the mentally ill and deranged, my son’s expenses run easily under $1,000.
Absolute, complete madness.
Join the military and the tax dollar will pay for the surgery. Or so a recruiter told me.
We have a GREAT AG in Florida, Ashley Moody. She will appeal immediately, and will win. It’s what she does.
Mark my words.
Well these folks should endure the ultimate loyalty test. Uniform, pack, rifle, ammo, Ukraine, Russians ...go.
This clown ruling ought to be overturned.
This is what happens when Satanists have taken over many of the levers of government.
Your kids are now their targets and you can’t protect them from the groomers.

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument
Patriots are reminded that the states have never expressly constitutionally given the unconstitutionally big federal government the specific power to dictate, regulate, tax and spend in the name of INTRAstate healthcare, not even to try to stop the spread of contagious diseases.
"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States." —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
"They form a portion of that immense mass of legislation, which embrace every thing in the territory of a state not surrendered to the general government. Inspection laws, quarantine laws, and health laws, as well as laws for regulating the internal commerce of a state, and others, which respect roads, fences, &c. are component parts of state legislation, resulting from the residuary powers of state sovereignty. No direct power over these is given to congress, and consequently they remain subject to state legislation [emphases added], though they may be controlled by congress , when they interfere with their acknowledged powers." —Justice Joseph Story, Article I, Section 10, Clause 2, 1833.
”Simply this, that the care of the property, the liberty, and the life of the citizen, under the solemn sanction of an oath imposed by your Constitution, is in the States and not in the federal government [emphases added]. I have sought to effect no change in that respect in the Constitution of the country.” —John Bingham, Congressional. Globe. 1866, page 1292 (see top half of third column)
"From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]." —United States v. Butler, 1936.
So what we're seeing with this post-FDR era, institutionally indoctrinated federal judge is an unconstitutional federal law (Medicade) being used to justify a judge's politically correct decision, a problem identified as early as 1803.
"If it were, in fact, an unconstitutional exercise of power in congress to pass a law establishing the bank, nothing can manifest the impropriety of over-stepping the limits of the constitution, more than the act which we have just noticed. It shows that the most unauthorized acts of government may be drawn into prescedents to justify other unwarrantable usurpations [emphasis added]." —Article 1, Section 8, Clause 6, St. George Tucker, Blackstone's Commentaries 1:App. 262--64, 1803.
Regarding 2024 elections, it's up to us patriots to initiate the final stage of Trump 47's second term mission to finish draining the swamp by primarying as many of our beloved state and federal lawmakers and executives as we can.
After all, given the example of this thread, lawmakers are once again showing that they do not have the patriotism and leadership skills necessary to find legislative support for effective remedies for unconstitutional government policies.
In fact, given that one of the very few powers that the states have expressly constitutionally given to the unconstitutionally big federal government to dictate domestic policy is to run the Mail Service (most federal domestic policy actually based on stolen state powers), the worst problem that the country would otherwise be looking at with a tsunami of freshman federal lawmakers is a delay with mail delivery.
"Article I, Section 8, Clause 7: To establish Post Offices and post Roads;"
Trump can endorse candidates that Constitution-savvy patriots recommend as long as candidates are not incumbents, candidates also promising to repeal the 16th (direct taxes) and 17th (popular voting for federal senators) Amendments after they win office.
The definition of insanity is reelecting your beloved career state and federal lawmakers and executives over and over again, expecting those same politicians to find remedies for unconstitutional government policies every time.
