China has discovered two new coronaviruses lurking in bats – and state-funded virologists are parading them as proof Covid did not leak from a lab.
Both pathogens harbour the same genetic quirk believed to make the pandemic-causing strain so infectious.
Until SARS-CoV-2 spawned in China towards the end of 2019, no sarbecoviruses (the virus family it belongs to) had even been found to have a 'furin cleavage site'.
Experts argued this oddity pointed to the pandemic as having a man-made origin, challenging Beijing's insistence that it emerged naturally.

The R number for COVID was, I believe, between 0.7 and 0.9. The R number for Measles is 15. The "pandemic-causing strain" wasn't very infectious. The whole thing was a hoax.

Furin cleavage sites occurring naturally or being engineered have nothing to do with whether or not it came from the lab.
I hope they did not inject some lab created viruses into the bats so they could make this claim.
More importantly we need to prevent Bill Gates and the US government and others from funding research whose ultimate goal is to reduce the world's population. As evil as they are, the Chinese did not do this alone.
This means they have the actual viruses in a lab. Prudent measure to take after 2019-2020 is to immediately ban all travel to the US from China, which will only work if the rest of the world follows suit. Otherwise we’ll see it here in early spring 2024. VEHEMENTLY RESIST & PROTEST ALL EFFORTS TO LOCK US DOWN AGAIN. DO NOT ROLL OVER FOR THEM.
