the FAILED Afghanistan withdrawal happened during August 2021. The “drama” of searching for her started in August 2021 until her remains were found on September 19, 2021.

B) please ask yourself: WHY did the media “follow” this case so closely? What made Gabby more special then the hundreds of other young people killed each year that she deserved 24 hour media attention. heck slick, we’re lucky if this same media will even bother to name the victims of the countless mass shootings we have every other week, but for some reason the media was GLUED to this case for weeks. In all honesty, the average American could have cared less about the case i.e. call me when you find her body. Thats why it was forgotten as soon asthe case was “closed” after Laundry killed himself.

Who gives a crap about Gabby Pettito? It may not be fake news, but it’s soap opera news. Pettito wasn’t known before her murder. Her life was of no consequence other than to her and her family and friends. She was quickly forgotten. Bad things regularly happen to people all the time, the vast majority you never hear about. At most, this was a local story.

The media strategically picks stories as a distraction and reason to not report on things of significance. The entire OceanGate story was a distraction. It was worth mentioning on the day the sub imploded, but it is no consequence to anyone but the families and friends of the lost. I did not care and did not follow the OceanGate story. It followed me - it was unavoidable, forced and dull distraction.

Channon Gail Christian, aged 21, and Hugh Christopher Newsom Jr., aged 23, were from Knoxville, Tennessee, United States. In 2007, a grand jury indicted Letalvis Darnell Cobbins, Lemaricus Devall Davidson, George Geovonni Thomas, and Vanessa Lynn Coleman on counts of kidnapping, robbery, rape, and murder. Also in 2007, Eric DeWayne Boyd was indicted by a federal grand jury of being an accessory to a carjacking, resulting in serious bodily injury to another person and misprision of a felony. In 2018, Boyd was indicted on state-level charges of kidnapping, robbery, rape, and murder.

Controversy arose due to differing interpretations regarding the media's coverage of the murders. Many people believed that the crimes were ignored because the victims were white while the perpetrators were black. Others, including journalists, disagreed with this assertion.
