Joe Biden Pushes for Lawsuits Against AR-15 Makers and Other Firearm Manufacturers
Breitbart ^ | 06/26/2023 | AWR HAWKINS

President Joe Biden targeted makers of AR-15s and other firearms Democrats label “assault weapons,” calling on Sunday for the ability to file lawsuits against such manufacturers.

Biden used social media to broadcast his view:

Gun manufacturers have spent two decades aggressively marketing assault weapons that make them some of the biggest profits.

It’s time we ended gun manufacturers’ immunity from liability – we’ve got to hold them accountable.

— President Biden (@POTUS) June 25, 2023

Speak up, RFK JR unless you’re an anti-gun nut.

The Democrats know they can’t just get rid of the 2nd amendment so they’ll have to regulate it so it’ll be too expensive for John Doe to own a firearm.

Given what happened in Cobb County GA in March, and what just happened in Great Falls Montana, for someone threatening F15s and nukes, Biden seems really desperate to grab your guns....

Shouldn’t the gun makers sue over the fact that the drug companies got immunity for a shot they now know never worked?

Can you imagine the discovery in that suit?

Gun manufacturers didn’t need to advertise when Obama was in office.

Biden himself isn’t pushing for anything. He’s way too deep into his dementia to push for anything. This is all the work of his behind the scenes puppeteers, whoever they are. They’re the ones calling the shots and making policy.

Yet Hunter Biden broke actual existing gun laws and walked away with impunity.

Gun manufacturers can still be sued for product liability (a defective product). Vax makers can’t even be sued for that.

Gun manufacturers have spent two decades aggressively marketing assault weapons that make them some of the biggest profits.

Automobile manufacturers have spent many decades aggressively marketing large and high-performance vehicles that make them some of the biggest profits. And a lot more people die in car wrecks every year than are shot with "assault weapons".

FJB is such an idiot.

Most people had no interest in AR-15 type rifles in the 1960s and 1970s. It was considered a (GASP!) Plastic Mouse gun!

Then in the mid 1980s the anti-gun radicals made an attempt to ban those rifles and the public suddenly took notice. After all, the anti gun radicals always said they “ONLY wanted to register and ban handguns! Rifles will not be affected!”

The anti-gun radicals and the anti-gun news media then made the AR-15 style rifle the most desirable rifle on the market.

Gun manufacturers are NOT immune to liability for the manufacture of defective firearms. But hitting a target is NOT a defect of design. Misfiring, or the chamber bursting in the face of the person pulling the trigger, or faulty mounting of any of the parts of the weapon, causing it to fall apart or fail in use, these are all subject to liability suits. HOW the weapon is used is not within the purview of the manufacturer.

The person who fires the weapon is correctly the party liable for damage caused by discharge of that weapon, and the resulting injuries or possible death resulting from the strike of the projectile, which may or may not include the effects of a ricochet which deflects the projectile.

Otherwise nations that have gone to war may be subject to a mass liability after the conclusion of hostilities.

If anybody is left, and there still exists a suitable venue for bringing a suit.

Let’s see the lawsuit template and apply it to ford and Chevy regarding drunk drivers. Start the lawsuits then negotiate the end of labor unions funding dems.

RFK Jr. is a Democrat, and a Kennedy to boot. That's all I need to know about him. Personally, I wouldn't go looking to him to protect any constitutional rights, regardless of what he says in interviews.
