The Biden Justice Department is reportedly preparing a superseding indictment of 30-45 more charges against former President Donald Trump, fearing a Trump-appointed judge might rule unfavorably against it.
The scope of the charges could potentially bring the presidential documents case to another jurisdiction and include charges against Trump-tied associates, sources told The Independent.
According to the report, the DOJ fears Southern District of Florida Judge Aileen Cannon – randomly selected for the case – might give deference to the former president.
Trump is already facing a 37-count federal indictment delivered by special counsel Jack Smith. Among the charges are 31 counts of willful retainment of military documents under the Espionage Act of 1917. Trump argues he was permitted to possess those documents under the civil statute of the Presidential Records Act, as determined by the precedent of the former President Bill "Clinton socks case" which was ruled around a decade ago by Judge Amy Berman Jackson, appointed by President Barack Obama.
Jackson is the same judge who has frequently served unfavorable rulings against Trump-tied officials.
But, the DOJ is concerned the Trump-appointed judge in Florida will have to be circumvented by a superseding indictment bringing additional charges, sources told The Independent.
The special counsel's team is apparently also considering bringing charges against attorneys for Trump, including those defending him during the 2020 presidential election challenge, like former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani.

And they talk there is no weaponization...won’t work cases will not go to trial before election next year, November 2024.
Why not just go full “Lavrentiy Beria” and charge him with eleventy-skaddilion more fake charges?
The DOJ expect not to have blind justice but a kangaroo court. The pro-Trump judge should jail the prosecutors for violations of civil rights.

Throw everything you have against the wall and hope something sticks.
The kangaroo courts are at least somewhat visible, if not always transparent. It is the star chamber courts, those called in some secret room, with the defendant absent and without representation, and the verdict handed down by public announcement after the fact, always “guilty”.
Or sometimes before the fact, and they have to go back and bat cleanup.
If the DOJ is trying to eliminate all appearances of a fair trial, it’s doing a nice job. Why don’t the attorneys there just cut to the chase and declare him guilty without a trial and appoint the biggest Trump-hating judge on the planet for the penalty phase? Add a treason charge in there so the death penalty is on the table. I doubt Merrick Garland would object to any of that. If you’re going to make a mockery of justice, you might as well go all-in.
This ENTIRE thing is political, it was NEVER about justice..heck Jack Smith knows that Trump did NOTHING wrong, they all do, butt his is about “Getting Trump” by any means necessary..welcome to Communism folks..if Trump were so guilty ANY jury would convict him, period..but Smith knows that Trump is innocent so he wants to file more charges in an anti trump state in order to convict him..this is on the orders of the Biden goons who KNOW that Trump would kick that pedo’s ass in 2024

In any case, this means they believe they have enough proof to charge him with crimes but are holding back. Isn’t that giving him preferential treatment?

I think most people are like my brother in law. He’s a big talker. Leads a very comfortable life and when the rock hits the grindstone, he knuckles under. He values his comfortable life way more than to plan and do what it takes to give the system a huge middle finger. To be blunt, he’s a huge pu**y. I on the other hand, I’m getting old. The divorce i just went through has me jaded and it has just made me more angry a the system. Not to mention the near insurmountable tax bill my ex wife left me with. Meanwhile that POS hunter gets away with a slap on the wrist for millions of dollars of taxes owed. And I’m suppose to kneel down and pay what i know is complete horse sh*t? Im suppose to put myself in the poor house to pay a bullish*t bill while the rich and powerful get away with it AND LAUGH ABOUT IT?! Im nearing the age of not caring anymore and I’m def past the age of just going along to get along.
I think the Biden Administration and its Department of Treason will have a few things to answer for at some point.
