Rep. Colin Allred (D-Texas), who is running for the Democratic nomination to challenge Sen. Ted Cruz (R) for his Senate seat, raised more than $6 million during the first two months of his campaign.
Allred’s campaign told The Hill that it will report bringing in more than $8.6 million for its Federal Elections Commission (FEC) report for the second quarter, which ended last week, including almost $6.2 million raised since the campaign launched in early May.

How much from the Cartels?...................
Cruz is one of the best. He needs to win.
Nahh. Let’s not forget that dopey Beto who ran against Cruz also raised millions. Mostly from California Democrats
Collin Allred is junk. Yet he has a lot of fans. Idiots.
Rat Party Headquarters clearly sees him as a threat.
I am afraid you are right. Cruz is a disappointment. He had so much potential. That Mexican vacation during the snow storm and black-out made him look so weak. I know it was a set up, but he could have revealed what the Climate idiots were doing in Texas with the Energy Board or Energy Commision, before the snow storm hit.
Just as long as it doesn’t turn Commie (All)Red.
The Democrats always throw crazy money in races they don’t have much of a chance to win especially against Republicans they despise and Cruz is near the top of the list
In 2022 the Democrats threw a ton of money at Val Demmings in Florida on the outside chance she could defeat Rubio
Or Gyorgy Schwartz?!
Cruz does need to win.
Any relation to Gloria?
Yep.
They’re targeting Cruz. I wouldn’t be surprised if this guy Allred raises record amounts of cash.
There are 365,000 people out there with $1 million Ira’s.

This is Fidelity alone(2021).
My idea(it should be Cruz’s). Withdraw $101k tax-free. The extra $1k goes to a newborn American citizen(It’s a 1% tax). If 365k millionaires take this tax-free withdrawal it comes to 3.65 million newborn thousandaires(my math could be wrong). Tax cut for the rich? Sure, rub it in their faces. Would new parents object? There are 3 million or so new ones every year.
The Kennedys talk a good game about helping the poor. We don’t get credit for doing anything but pushing grandma off a cliff, wheelchair included.
I am sure the Demon Rat party is building a fraud machine in Texas like it did in GeorgiaPennsylvaniaWisconsinMichiganArizona.
Election night will see tens of thousands of ballots “found” in Austin, Houston, Dallas...98.56% all for the Demon Rat nominee.
And RINO clowns will say, “tsk tsk, I guess we must go back the drawing board...”
He barely survived a challenge from Beto, I doubt he can survive a serious challenger. Besides, I don’t see him as that effective of senator. Doesn’t look like a credible Republican challenger in the wings, so a possible Dem pickup.
My $1k gift to the newborn gift would be in the form of a non refundable IRA of their own. Watch it grow.
I’m old enough to remember when Texas was electing leftist creeps like Ann Richards. The left is desperately trying to turn Texas blue, but they have failed miserably to date.
Yes, we know, you hate him. Even with flaws, he’s still one of the best U.S. Senators in the body today.
