OK, I’ll give you the 1945 but I’ll raise you a 1940. The French outnumbered the Germans 4 to 1 in 1940 but could not get off their collective asses and stop the Germans in Belgium. The brains and talent had already left for Casablanca in North Africa and the best fight they could put up was shooting at our guys when we went to clean up North Africa. Their slide took 150 years and we have to guard against our own. At least Hitler didn’t destroy Paris but it looks like he left it for the Muzzards?

As a matter of historical accuracy, the French did stop the Germans in Belgium.
The problem was they didn’t stop the Germans who went thru the Ardennes, and the war was basically over in a week.
So…where are the mucho yellow vests who were protesting the heck out macaroni? Why aren’t they in the front lines defending their nation? Can’t remember if they were yellow or orange vests but still they seem to have developed a yellow streak on their backs. You would think they would be the first ones out there settling down these evil demonic ragheads riots. They were the first one screaming at the top of their lungs about the invaders. So where are they? Yeah, they’re probably were the first ones to have drawn the white flags.

The term hadn't been invented yet, but the Germans figured out how to exploit the OODA loop. The shorthand term was blitzkrieg. They sliced through everything anyone could put up against them for three years before their opponents, slowly and very painfully, learned the new tactics, operational styles, and revised unit organization and training down to the fire team level. Russia bought time with vast distances and immense sacrifice of life. The Brits got their heads handed to them in 1940 but then had a couple of very dicey years in North Africa to begin sorting things out. And the Germans started to run out of men.
The French hadn't recovered psychologically and morally from WWI, but they would still have done much better in 1940 had they not still be fighting the last war. The French command structure simply couldn't match the German tempo of operations.
The French military to this day is as hard as woodpecker lips. They are no joke and put the Brits, Germans, Poles and everyone else in that part of the world to shame.
But their leaders are squishy WEF/DC/London clones.
But if the French Army ever gets unleashed, they are no joke. And they have more than a few long term Algerian types in it as well.
Hopefully someone saves that place from this wave of migrants of the last decade.
The Napoleonic wars, WWI, and WWII. That’s what happened. We never hear the end of Flanders fields and poppies from the British. But French losses were double that. In the battle of Verdun -alone- they had about 25% of the total British dead for the whole war.
And in WWII they were outsmarted by the new German techniques. But in the 6 weeks of the 1940 battle of France they killed at least 25,000 Germans and wounded 11,034. And 85,000 French soldiers died. That’s about 50% more than we lost in Vietnam.... and for them it was in 6 weeks.
That’s why those old French Army surrender jokes are utter nonsense. They must come from Brits who of course ever surrendered. Except at Yorktown. Except at Dieppe. Except at Singapore where they surrendered to a Japanese force a third of their size.
But for some reason we never hear about tea drinking surrender monkeys.
France did lose many of their best men.
That is not accurate. The German force and the Allied Force were right about 3.3 million each in the battle of France 1940. And they fought damned hard and lost 85k dead in 6 weeks. Their leadership was not up to snuff. Neither was Brit leadership. The Brits fled the battlefield and evacuated at Dunkirk.
Immigration is a make-work project for government. They need to keep full the government schools, hospitals, and jails, and keep the bureaucratic empire expanding.
An unrecognized impact of socialism versus traditional family-ism, is socialism removes the return on investment for the time and expense of having children, and raising them to their fullest potential. Developed countries don't stop raising big families because they are developed, but because they start socialism. Young people are freed from supporting their aging parents financially, but in trade, are enslaved to pay for the government's Ponzi schemes.
And let us not forget the origin of this immigration wave. We launched the Arab Spring in Egypt. Then it spread. NATO decided to attack Libya and fly top cover for Black Flag waving Al Qeida. At the same time we launched our attack against Syria with our Syrian rebel army/FSA/Al Nusra/ISIS revolt.
Our sicko neocon machinations are the root cause of this who thing.
And let’s not forget 9/11 was the result of Bill Clinton launching a billion dollars worth of cruise missiles into the Al Qeida hornets’ nest without killing any of the hornets. The hasty attack was ordered the very same day Monica Lewinsky spilled the natto beans to a grand jury. It’s the butterfly effect, and the trailer-trash version of Harvey Weinstein was the butterfly.

But they sure were eager to disarm and lock up the people who were protesting the importation of these spreaders of cultural enrichment.
