Our protected/entitled/spoiled/perpetually whining minority class has hated Asians ever since Covid hit the US.
Oregon has a long history with the Chinese. I’m sure Chinese/ Japanese is all samey-same with that demographic, though.

Can you imagine what it must feel like to know your ancestors have been here 400 years, yet you can barely read or write, most of your family is either on welfare or in prison, and everything you've ever "earned" was given to you as a sop?
Now, you see these "slanty eye'd devils" who spent their formative years in Communist China or in a Thai refugee camp, and they have a master's degree and speak English better than you could ever dream of.
Of course you're going to be filled with rage, and with poor impulse control, putting a beat down on the first "Chinaman" you see makes perfect sense.
