...It’s a complicated question, one that touches on the film’s unorthodox funding methods, its faith-based marketing, and its blend of traditional filmmaking with messaging that relentlessly tells its fans that the mere act of paying to see it is a virtuous and valorous act....
. . Variety’s Owen Gleiberman described it as a “solid thriller,” emphasizing that the film’s base appeal works even without the huge amounts of baggage that have been attached to it by its supporters and star... .
. AMC was fielding a variety of rumors, including accusations of canceling showings, sabotaging sound systems, and even screwing with the A/C in its theaters, in order to make viewing the movie an uncomfortable experience, as part of a narrative that someone was trying to “stop” people from seeing the film.

Not accusations
Multiple 1st hand reports
Narrative is what this urinalist is pushing.
So much projection (forgive the pun) in this urinalist narrative.
It made a $100 million because the people who gave up on going to the movies - went to see a movie.
Some people are reporting that when they go to purchase seats not many are left to choose from but when they get to the theatre a lot of these seats never do end up with bodies in them.
So, are supporters who already saw the movie just buying seats to help the film make more money?
Is the Left buying seats to keep people from seeing the movie?
Is this paying it forward thing whereby people are buying seats for strangers not working fully in that these bought seats are effectively linked up to people to donate them to?
Because leftists are ttally clueless about mainstream America.
THAT’S why they are surprised.
It made a $100 million because the people who gave up on going to the movies - went to see a movie.
The heroes in the movie were our heroes and the villains were our villains.
I went to see the movie and I did buy 4 tickets for just that reason.
The upshot of all this, though, is that $100 million is a reality-deforming amount of money, especially for a movie running on a $15 million budget. It’s the kind of number that demands a response, if not outright imitation; it remains to be seen how Hollywood will respond to this new competitor in its midst.
Not a complicated questionl. It’s a simple question that has a simple answer. While the left is obsessing about how to destroy this great and wonderful country, the folks don’t accept all the left is trying to do, and as the left increases the intensity of the attack, the folks realize what’s going on and push back.
I totally enjoy seeing liberals experience major stress over this movie, over bud light and over Jason Aldean.
I with the left nothing but a major intensification of their anguish and wish for the pushback to quadruple in strength.
And it’s going to make even more
Imagine the melt down when it opens over seas where the
Biden/ Rino/Dem/Uniparty/District of Cartels
slave trade
gets its “ product” “ merchandise”
.
/-)
tells its fans that the mere act of paying to see it is a virtuous and valorous act..
/\
We don’t have to be told that
We knew by seeing it we would help get the word out about the current slave trade of the left
and finance getting the word spread further, hopefully globally.
( they like global right ? /-)
Illuminating that the urinalists would consider virtue and valor a bad distasteful thing.
Reminds me of hiding conservative bestsellers in bookstores. Putting them behind other books, hiding the covers. And then they have Michelle Obama books stacked to the ceiling up front. All the garbage they push at the movies and then when a Sound Of Freedom or Passion Of The Christ slips through they go nuts.
The only attached baggage has been by the left in their attempt to kill the movie after Disney tried to bury it in their for years underneath the Song of the South and the Star Wars Holiday Special.
Does the donor buy tickets for a particular theatre and time, and then the beneficiary claims those tickets (online or at the door)? What if those tickets remain unclaimed?
Or does the donor buy "open" tickets that can be used anytime and any place? How does that work out logistically with so many theatres and times involved?
Except even the CEO of Angel says no those things aren’t happening. And would really like people to stop spreading silly conspiracies.

“it remains to be seen how Hollywood will respond”
I think Hollywood will ignore it. They are going to focus on messaging and the government will bail them out. The sad part is the only baggage this film had was leftists who desire power despite their leaders being morally bankrupt.
I’m genuinely surprised when these urinalists screed doesn’t end with
All hail and worship satan.
Excellent. Closer to the truth than we want to think...
It’s a complicated question …No it isn’t, William Hughes.
The one accusation against AMC I have a problem with is the Air Conditioning being shut off.
It would be hard to shutdown the AC in just one theater in today’s modern theater megaplexs.
Each theater does not have independent AC units.
Roof top units supply multiple theaters.
