They are down to conscripts and war fighting aged males are in hiding. If they had a professional army they would have their own weapons and know how to use them. Their troops do not know tactics and do not have experience working together in a coordinated manner. Every time we give them weapons, the weapons are destroyed, whether Bradleys. Abrams or Panthers.

Ukraine had armaments pre-war, quite a lot in fact, in proportion to its size. A thousand tanks is a great number by NATO standards. But there was a limit to all that. They are fighting a great power after all. And they weren’t a very rich country in the first place.
I think you need to do a great deal more research.
