House Republicans aim to pass two appropriations bills as part of a greater strategy to pressure President Joe Biden to adopt more spending cuts.

Let’s admit it, our form of government is fragile, and it broke. A uniparty wasn’t protected against.

Substitute "the Republic" for "the treasury" in this ridiculous statement and you'll have the Democrat/Communist Party's primary objective ... except that if the cost of burning down the Republic doesn't "save" it, well, that's OK, too.
I don't think the Republican Party holds the same objective, although I sometimes wonder as they are very reluctant, it appears, to bring down the Biden Crime Family which is an essential component of any plan to "save the Republic".

The Debt Ceiling Deal also allows them to call anything at all Emergency Spending - and it bypasses the entire Deal.
Numerous Congress Critters have already said they want to pass (spending) items they’ve talked about for years and their colleagues said they were not bound by the deal if they inserted any/all into a Bill where the fine print says emergency funding, which is only a technicality.
Most of them will add pork for their districts and the beat goes on. It’s easy to bypass, by design.
