better pardon himself too..
but I thought Hunter didn’t do nutting.
Or, and call me crazy...tell the DOJ to drop any charges against Hunter, and press more charges against Trump.
don’t count on it. Even if he is mentally challenged he still like the good press, free ice cream and the occasional child that wanders across his path.
That’s what I was thinking......what’s to keep him from pardoning his drug adds on AND running......he has no measurable shame or conscience so why not?
Addict.....not add on
Don’t you have to be convicted of a crime to get a pardon. Non lawyer asking.
exactly, no honor, no soul, no standards. He can act without consequence.
“Don’t you have to be convicted of a crime to get a pardon.”
Ask Dick Nixon.
they need to tell Joe it’s nicknamed the “sniff the hair” option - he might just go for it
In a very fast manner, pass a constitutional amendment that prohibits a president’s power to pardon family members.
The pardon will be the last ditch final card nuclear option.
My money is on it all goes away somehow......just like everything else.
I hope that judge has some around the clock private security set up.
The Hunter-pardon-and-apology approach would appeal to the self-serving Biden
<><>to save his no-good cokehead son
<><>to justify Biden’s withdrawal from the election
<><> to simultaneously beatify himself as performing a selfless act.......something he rarely does.
Everyone in Washington would win — except, of course, we, the people:
<><>The Biden Crime Family riches from millions in influence-peddling profits continues;
<><>Hunter is clean——won’t even have to pay his full taxes;
<><>Congress, the MSM are forgiven for ignoring and burying reports of govt corruption.
That is what is called a “happy ending” in Washington.
Actually, the Demonrats were hoping for Biden to stay in and get the nomination, then quit because of personal ailments and then the DNC would pick gruesome Newsome to run. Sorry, Klamydia.
Nope. Ford pardoned Nixon with no conviction. However that was never challenged.
The Justice Department also would face pressure to seek the same long jail sentence given to Manafort; he was sentenced to 73 months of imprisonment, which included the statutory maximum 60 months for a conspiracy to violate FARA.
Interestingly, Turley forgets to mention that the time frame used to bring the charges and subsequent conviction of Manafort, was when he was working with the Podesta brothers, who were allowed to backdate their FARA paperwork and amend their taxes, IIRC.
And apparently, backdating FARA paperwork is pretty common. I guess it all depends on who you are and you’re working for.
LOL. That’s funny.
He can pardon Hunter and then say he has to to do so because MAGA republicans are going after his innocent son on charges since they can’t beat him in a fair election (or something along those lines)
I fully expect the Democrats & Biden to simply brazen it out.
After all, they are very happy with him in the White House, following the instructions of???????? Obama? Naa through Obama. As long as he can be shot up and totter out a couple of times a month, everything will be OK. Reelected in a landslide.
I think the next step is to discredit Judge Noreika via their media arm and probably the Just-us dept. Somehow they find a way to have her removed from this case or impeached and thrown out of office. Then shop up a compliant judge who either accepts the plea deal of throws it all out.
Meanwhile, step up the investigations of President Trump. Somewhere in the land is a judge that will rule that Trump is disqualified from holding public office.
By the time the case gets to the Supreme Court, Trump will be well into his 80s. So it matters not what they rule.
