Bud Light suffered another dramatic weekly plunge in sales in the wake of the Dylan Mulvaney fiasco — accelerating the end of the brand’s reign as the nation’s top-selling beer faster than anticipated, according to industry sources.
The Anheuser-Busch brand saw sales plummet 26.8% during the week ended July 22 — slightly worse than Bud Light previous week’s decline of 26.1%, according to data from NielsenIQ and Bump Williams Consulting.
The dropoff continued a catastrophic trend since Bud Light partnered with the trans influencer April 1 — which sparked backlash and boycotts in conservative regions of the country. Meanwhile, sales of the No. 2 beer in the US, Modelo Especial, popped 13.4% over the same period, according to the data. The brand should end Bud Light’s two decades of dominance in market share before the end of August, according to Bump Williams, who heads the eponymous consultancy.

Their second quarter financial report to the SEC, due Aug 3, should be interesting.
And now AB is running ads on getting Budweiser to market, featuring red can, with a few cases of Bud Lite peeking out.
Don’t they get it? Bud Lite is killing the brand. the less seen, the better.

Daughter and fiancé were visiting their wedding venue over the weekend. In the storage room one of the boxes holding wedding decorations happened to be a Bud Light box. While the wedding planner was conversing with the daughter, the husband came over to me and said that it was just a box, they didn’t carry any Bud Light. He’s probably gotten questioned about the box more than once over the past few months.

Sew the name of the guy Dylan who thinks he is a girl, to every banner and flag. Let the MONOPOLIES who dominant the market and prohibit competition drink deep, and think hard.. HIRE more Harvard Grads.
I doubt AB even cares about losing millions. If they cared about profit and happy customers they would have apologized for this months ago.

I watched a beer truck guy unload and deliver beer to a C-store while gassing up. Coors Lite, several Miller products, Modelo - but no BUD anything.
