I remember even at the time, there was a still photo taken during this event that was REALLY CREEPY... And people wondering if the NY Slimes picking out a photo of GHWBush looking dammed near like a corpse being carried was done to influence the upcoming election for the ‘toon.

I was at a UseNIX conference shortly after Bush had dinner with the Japanese. There was a competition for the most creative new filesystem. Someone suggested the "George Bush filesystem". It is found on Japanese laptops. Bush had puked in the lap of one of the Japanese at dinner.

The other "winner" was the Heisenberg filesystem. You can know the name of the file or its location, but not both at the same time.

IIRC Bush wasn’t a kid back then.I was about his same age last year when I did JFK to Seoul...nonstop. The jet lag for the first few days was horrible.

At the time the conspiracy theory was that Bush was a clone and the clone broke down at the dinner.

How the times have changed.

I get the idea that this article and the fact check were AI written. AI assembles statements based on language models. It applies trends to events and basically makes up stories. So this ‘clone break down’ theory was just combined with today’s theories on “sudden death” and made this article and/or the fact check.

Don’t get me wrong, I have seen passed out people puke and I have seen people puke and then go lay down and pass out.

But I have never seen someone go from being awake and alert one second to puking and passing out 2 seconds later.
